Typical England innings in recent times. Some decent scores but no-one gone big.

Yeah.

Don't think it will matter here, though.

Does anywhere do decent highlights for this? Just got back in and bet there will only be them 5 minute youtube ones where if you blink you miss 4 wickets

BBC have a highlights show don't they I think

Hard to believe this is the last inns Jimmy will bowl for England.

Still think he's been pushed to early.

I think it's a disgrace that the ECB haven't let him decide himself.

The gulf between the biggest three teams and the rest at Test level seems very big right now.

That being said, this Windies team did win a Test in Aus not too long ago so perhaps not as big as it seems.

I love TMS. This goes well with Aggers talking about his (tuba) fingering technique yesterday

It’s been mentioned that England already have their sights on the next Ashes series (16 months away). I don’t think the powers that be think he’s that effective in Oz (Woakes isn’t either & won’t go in my opinion).

England want to take an attack of pure pace. Atkinson, Stone, Wood, Pennington, Archer (depends on fitness), Potts etc.

Anderson will be missed without doubt, but will be great help as a mentor.

Rob Key is a nobhead that’s why.

With the Ashes in mind I get the reasoning for wanting to try out new lads, but the whole thing seems really weirdly handled, why not just pick him less rather than ****ing him off completely.

And we've won one series on the Caribbean since 1968...

Jimmy bowling as good as ever, you have 3 other bowling spots to get ready for ashes.

If you are good enough ages shouldn't matter whether that's old or young.

Should have given him this summer minimum.

Thing I don't get about all this Ashes preparation talk is you can get together a group of fast bowlers.

But if you don't get batsman able to convert 50s into big 100s it will not matter.
