Ah I see, is this the kind of strategy they use at this particular course? In the previous races they have never done that.

Yeah pretty much everyone usually starts on softs and then after 10 laps or so put hards on and go the rest of the race

 

Stroll was seemingly doing the opposite, do about 40 laps on hards then switch to softs

 

But that Verstappen tyre failure being the same as Stroll is going to bring up big questions for Pirelli now

Was that a bit of debris flying away I saw after the tyre went? *Needs another replay...*

 

Red flag...  Will it be restarted for just two laps? If not when does it get counted back to?

Red flagged so new tyres on if they restart this race. This could be interesting. Wonder if its debris on track or worried about tyres.
