I was a census collector back in 2010 2011... (wow you see some things), but i was of the understanding that yes, you will be counted a "religious" and when the census is used for government planning etc... they will just see that X% of the British public identifies as religious.

I had the cencus come today and an invite to participate in a random invite Covid survey as well .Seems I am finally in demand as a govt guinea pig..The covid thing is a test kit  sent to you and courier collects to see if you have it or not,Maybe they will send me into space next to see if I can survive !

Back to footy best team out tonight from the ko and give Under at least 30 minutes if we need

Received and completed ours last week too. Unless we die can't see anything changing by next week.

We're also COVID test guinea pigs, someone comes once a week to do a swab test and once a month for a blood sample. And they give us £25 each for the privilege of taking our bodily fluids :D

Costs me 4 times as much for someone to take mine

I know people often question him for his silliness but I genuinely think he’d make a great striking coach. He can still have a laugh with the guys but he is such a clever player I’m sure he’d be a big asset

He’d be perfect for this type of role because tactically he is spot on

I honestly thought I was about to read:

Can't believe they actually banned this/discounted it.

I know. I identify as a lightsaber and that’s ok. So why can’t I be a Jedi?

That's my concern - sorry to be too serious, but as an atheist I want to see this country as free from religion as possible as soon as possible. We don't need people putting fake religions down and inflating the 'religious' percentage so that organised religion gets more funding.

I'm sure the 3 people who put down 'Vardyism' as a religion aren't going to do too much damage to your grand plan. Chill out

In absolute honesty Vardyism or Jedi is just as perfectly stupid or sensible as Christian or Muslim.Water into wine for goodness ,loaves and fishes, holding back the tide,,an after life, its all bonkers and just shows how over hundreds/thousands of years folk have been willing to follow a path that promises.Bit like the national lottery.

If the universe is as vast as they say, which it appears to be, then it contains more or less every possibility. Therefore a god or gods are very likely to exist. Add in multiverses and other dimensions and atheism appears little more than a religion of denial. sorry to be serious.

I’ll get back to being a Jedi.

Don't want to derail the thread mate but atheism is simply an absence of belief. An Atheist doesn't state that God(s) don't exist, they may well exist, but simply that we will not believe that one does exist until presented with convincing evidence. So basically my stance on God(s) is the same as my stance on the Loch Ness monster.

To quote Ricky Gervais: Atheism is a belief system in the same way that "off" is a TV channel, not going skiing is a hobby or baldness is a hairstyle.
