Yet another defeat today at home albeit to a decent side, but the home form this season has been woeful.Four more games against

Palace, Albion, Newcastle and Spurs and realistically if we are to finish top four need to win them all.The problem is doing on the form this season you know we are going to blow at least one of them. The remaining four away at West Ham , Southampton , Chelsea and Yanited probably means we have to win two of these.

Lots of people saying today was a free hit think the players played like it was 

There are no more free hits if this season is going to end positively

Candidate for worst thread of the season.

 

Home and away without fans doesn't even bear discussion. Particularly after losing at home to the champions, what does it matter? Where's the competitive advantage? All the little things like turning up the heating, giving them a small changing room are gone. Utter nonsense spouted by sky who have nothing else to talk about.

7th best home form in the league, only bettered by 5 of the big 6 (not Arsenal) and West Ham (who I doubt would have such a good home record if their fans were in).

 

2nd best away form in the league, only bettered by Man City after today.

De Bruyne basically said we offered no threat to them yesterday. We played the wrong game,, with Liverpool winning

Last night and the Hammers playing tomorrow the free hit merchants are going to look foolish if that result goes

I know every week is a must win game but we have to be beating West Brom, Newcastle and Palace at home. 
We are not alone in losing to bottom half sides. 
Look at sides around us - Utd have lost at home to Palace and Sheffield Utd. 
Liverpool have lost to Burnley, Brighton, Fulham, and Everton. 
Everton have prob the worst home record of the top 6. Losing to Fulham and Burnley. Prob others. I can’t remember who else.

I think calling them a decent side is the biggest understatement of all time, they are the best side in the world. Don't think we played like it was a free hit, they just didn't let us do anything they pressed the life out of us & suffocated us.

Only  the bottom 3 have lost more  22 points  at home bordering on relegation whereas away form  normally runaway leaders

Only Man City and West ham have won more games at home.

 

Southampton and Everton have also lost 7 at home. Leeds, Arsenal, Liverpool have lost 6.

This season shows those who dont get it the importance of home support. You could argue we have benefitted from the lack of home fans when we play away too. The way refs crap themselves when the howling home fans get on there backs. The fact that someone is ahead of Manure in the penalty table for the first time since 2017/18 is testament to that (us by the way LOL).

 

BTW not being able to sort our pitch out for our style of football hasnt helped either. It usually looks like a snooker table but this season seems to be cutting up. All in all, home or away form means sweet FA this season.

Think KDB’s comment was a slight dig at us in reference to our game at the etihad earlier in the season
