...why do you seek to go personal regarding this!!!

Rodger has said he is heavily involved in acquisitions,  he stated he had the last word. Why do you think Rudkin, because he writes the cheques would have the last word regarding the suitability of a player to play a certain role, he knows little about these matters and it would be suicide if we chose to allow him to do so.

You may be angry about the situation but if you cannot debate an issue with acting childishly then you should be spending your time on other pursuits.

I'm not going personal. I haven't attacked Rodgers once. There are plenty on here who do who you haven't aimed that comment at. I'm simply stating he doesn't sign players the club does. These deals are for massive amounts of money and if you think Rodgers has the final say you operate on a level I can't.

To attribute our performances to him is acceptable. He picks the team, tactics etc.

He’ll be in charge for Sunday so no point having expectations he’s off.

Strange that such principled Thai owners are so willing to be publicly insulted.

No doubt he will, he’ll get at least a month to turn it around imo, based on Top’s comments

Not necessarily, if he loses one or two more he's gone. You can't give him another full month. What if we've still only got 1 point by the end of it? You don't want to end up in a situation where the pack has pulled away and you need Top 4 form just to be safe.

I don't think he publicly insulted anyone, his comments might have been a dig at the current situation, but it was hardly an personal insult.  He's way too slippery for that!

I quite sure Rodgers has an input, he's the manager. He certainly won't have the last word, unless it's his cash. The buck stops with the person who writes the cheques and sanctions the deals. That is clearly not Rodgers, no matter what someone posted. Use your loaf.

There are people who post the world is flat and men can get pregnant. If you've had a chat with Top and he said Rodgers has the last say on transfer deals fair enough, anything else I'm not buying it.

Hmmm.  Lets say l agree to give my partner £200 to buy new clothes, she decides where to shop (first say),  what sort of stuff she wants (in between say) and whether to buy it (final say).

I would expect Top to give Rodgers a budget and the rest to be his choice and his alone - no top coach would wear others choices that they did not want especially one so obviously self opinionated and arrogant as our glorious leader.

If we lose to Brighton (very likely) the pressure will obviously increase, Villa after that and that is the key game. That is where I can see us actually getting something, and if we do, maybe he can save himself. But that game is the only one before Forest/Bournemouth in October where I see us getting any points.

Without wanting to fall in to the trap of being whipped in to a frenzy, surely that can only be comments that make things worse?

If he'd rowed back on anything he'd said and been more diplomatic then why would anything be "embargoed" until today?

Jason is a fan and has consistently pushed difficult lines of questioning which others have been too shy to do. Have we embargoed parts of press conferences before? I can't imagine Jason trying to push clickbait nonsense but may be wrong.

So now we are just the Brendan Rodgers circus. Great. Taking the piss out of the club and the media are going to lap it up.

That's my thoughts too. Seems very odd that this content has been embargoed. It'll be interesting to know who by. Has the club intervened to censor content or did BR request to hold back even more criticism until the transfer window was closed just in case any unexpected signings came off at the last minute? I'll be interested to see what Bourne releases.

It surely can't be much worse than we already know otherwise he'd be gone by now. I do wonder whether he alludes to Top selling up or something like that perhaps.

Are you seriously equating giving the person you love £200 to giving someone you employ tens of millions?

I mean yeah, it's not like the club won't know what it contains and what was said.
