Is Romano believable? Or would he just be making some kind of informed guess?

His tweet has the same "d' ya think" energy as this WhatsApp message from a non-LCFC supporting mate after the game yesterday

I think it's Whelan someone mentioned her and Rodgers being  close.

She has a personal hot tub in her office at the training ground.  This is where she and him meet to discuss results and upcoming fixtures. She loves Big Brendy. He’s not going anywhere soon. He’ll get 3 more games minimum.

rapidly losing faith and trust in those who run the club.

same, leaving the squad in its state and running down players contracts is the biggest disaster. Who gives a shit about a stadium revamp or a training ground. Money should of been spent on the squad as no1 priority, BR was right the players are not good enough and needed to refresh.

It’s obviously true, the level of hysteria in here is high, no doubt. However, we should look at the direction of travel over the last 18 months to 2 years and be mighty concerned.

Personally. do not care about what he says and it genuinely baffles me when people get bent out of shape about what he says, he is not a sincere man, he is not a priest or under oath, he has considerable hubris, so I would suggest basing any judgement on what he says is madness anyway.

But, he has us heading in a very bad direction and had been for far too long, so he should go in my,opinion.

Thats all fair, I don't know why KFS inparticular seems to have read what I said as some sort of "Rodgers in" post. It was in response to somebody who seemed to suggest that "no matter what happens from here" (as I quoted myself) we're as good as down.

There is a massive difference between the  majority of fans now agreeing that it's time for Brendan to go and some rounding on Top and the board!

Acting like petulant children because you've not received the news you want yet , stamping your feet and calling for the board to go, is imo completely ludicrous.

Be careful what you wish for 😒

Comparisons with 2014/15 are redundant imho. We didn't lose a game by more than a 2-goal margin during that whole season. The spirit and belief was always there. This season we have already been absolutely drummed by Brighton and Spurs, and in the second half of both games you could sense that the spirit of the players had been broken.

Can we find out who the bloke holding the sacking up is?

If its true then i imagine its Top. He really wanted Brendan in the role.

If there is anyone who is still backing him in which what is holding up his sacking then it has to be Top, it's his club and he can do as he pleases with it

What is scary, if the above is true, is that surely he can't be backing him for his management skills, as not only us but the whole footballing world has seen over the last couple of weeks with 2 implosions live on TV, so it has to be down to the fact that he can't afford to pay him up (in which the amount is rediculous) so maybe financially we are in more of a mess then what we are led to believe

The whole season, in fact pre season has stunk and things just don't add up, surely Brendan was told last season after the forest drubbing that his comments of a rebuild wouldn't be happening as the hierarchy knew full well we had to be careful and lose players before we could bring any in, but what Brendan says is he only found out at the beginning of pre season, so someone along the way is telling porkies

If Everton and West Ham draw later on we will only be 4 points off 17th. Hopefully the new manager will be able to turn that around

That will be a tough ask, the mathematics are definitely against us here

It has to be Top. How could lesser people within the organisation stop the owner making the call?

They wouldn't stop him, but he clearly respects them, defers to the fact they are involved more day to day with running the club than he is, and it would obviously be better (in terms of future board harmony) if the decision was made with all in agreement. But it surely would be at the point now where if there's still a naysayer Top would say 'with all due respect I think you're too close to this'

To be perfectly honest I don't believe it's one individual. Tops got more sense than that.

It is possible because we have a very good set of players, now I know that doesn’t guarantee anything but getting rid of Rodgers will help our cause

I want Rodgers to be sacked like the majority here, however I was surprised and impressed to see how hard the team worked and played for him until Son had a barnstormer and drained all confidence.

What? lol

being replaced by a billionaire sauidi prince would make me happy tbh. club needs way more investment to stay in the PL long term, what we currently have aint working. ;) (as much as i hate to say it)

Making up 4 points over 31 games isn't a tough ask.

With our current defence under this manager, We've 1 from 21 and other teams are not going to wait around for us, that gaps going to get bigger before, if, we start to get better :)
