I think the damage is done. This is Mclintock level stuff.

We aren't losing games. We are being humiliated every single week. Even Taylor managed to largely keep scorelines down, Bolton apart. A new manager will have done well to reduce the goals against to 1 or 2 a game, let alone start to win points.

Arsenal, Brighton and Spurs could all easily have scored 10 each. Man Utd played at around 20% and won at a canter. An absolutely honking Southampton side scored at will the.moment they stepped up a gear.

This is hands down the worst organised, worst set up, tactically non existent team we may ever have fielded. That includes Mclintock, Taylor and Holloway.

And what does he do every week at the end? High fives, face cuddles and hugs with all  the players. Can anyone imagine Tuchel, Conte, Mourinho et al or even Steve Bruce congratulating his players every week after being bummed?

This is it. We are not losing. We are being humiliated. Every game we are showing ourselves up as being some tinpot shit club who is happy to make up numbers. Insulting results though not consistent, are part of Rodgers management. Now, they’ve become consistent.

The fact the noises coming out of club is that we are now considering a change let’s you know everything about how we are ran. These fools talking about admiring Franks and Potter - you stupid ***** couldn’t give this club £20m to spend in the summer and admire managers who won’t give you a second look.

Rodgers needs to go but this board needs to find the door too.

One of the many things l dislike about Rodgers is the BS he spouts about encouraging youth, just seen Arsenal have a 15 year old on the bench!

Rodgers would make that lad wait... About 6 years or sell him!

7pts from safety with 8 games to go - stayed up

3pts from safety with 31 games to go - as good as down no matter what happens

18th place west ham and 17th place everton have a game in hand over us. At best we are 4 points from safety, most likely we are 5.

I keep checking the forum, the news etc in the feint hope that a decision to get rid of rodgers has been made, which it really should have by now….i actually now cant see them doing it in this international break (which is madness). We are sleepwalking into relegation. Surely the cost of sacking him is cheaper than relegation. I just want the club to act! How frustrating

I’ve posted on here previously a few weeks ago that He will get till the World Cup break in November

He clearly won’t if we keep losing every game as is happening at the moment. Are you really suggesting he will get another 8 games and even if our losing run hit double figures he would remain.

If the board are so inept that they have backed the club in to the position where it can't sack this worm because we can't afford it, then it's only natural to question that board. The fact he's still here after overseeing a steady decline over the best part of 2 years is another reason to question the board. I'm sure top is a nice enough bloke but fear people who remember his late, great dad so fondly are being blinded by the clear and obvious evidence with decisions and finances, it appears on all known evidence the bloke has no idea how to run a football club, if he does he's hiding it very well.

Puel’s personality lost him a lot of friends and supporters . It seemed like he was arrogant and deaf to criticism and he wouldn’t explain the decisions he took which resulted in terrible football and alienated the supporters .
he had a good eye for a player though .

Completely agree. It was his way or the highway, very much like Rodgers term now. And if Rodgers was leaving behind a much improved squad I think he would be another manager where history looks back on fondly. It will in terms of his Trophy success, but not in terms of the club being in a better position than when he arrived.

Puel had no success on the pitch but he stabilised us and set us up for a brilliant future.

The one saving grace is, we have played 33% of the 12 games against the ESL teams.  But failed to beat Brentford and Southampton at home.

being replaced by a billionaire sauidi prince would make me happy tbh. club needs way more investment to stay in the PL long term, what we currently have aint working. ;) (as much as i hate to say it)

Get in the bin. Unless this is a joke

Just shared some LCFC based banter with Dion Dublin in my gym car park. He said his knees would stop him playing for us when I asked if he’d consider it as he couldn’t be much worse than what we have. Didn’t want to press him about managing us but will do so next time.

Christ this conversation has fallen on its head lol

As soon as Rodgers has gone we'll start climbing the table. There's 31 games to go.

To be fair, I think a lot of people (myself included) feel like if we carry on as we are, there is a real danger we will go down. 22 goals in 7 games speaks for itself. I don't believe that we will go down but that's assuming Rodgers is replaced ASAP. There is a big difference, people are right to be concerned.
