Neto and Trincao are great wide options, plus Traore whilst we seem content to just have Barnes for some reason. Look at the mess we were in last season after his injury, it should be a priority to sort it out.

Going to be absolutely fuming if we mess this up again when there are seemingly quality options available who aren’t going to break the bank

Amazed we weren’t in for him on that sort of deal, brilliant for Wolves. I seriously hope we have already line up an alternative...

Loan this year and £25m option for someone we tried to sign for £35m last summer? Seems like that would have been the perfect deal for us, we MUST have someone else lined up as otherwise we would have got him, I’m sure of it.

Plus this season's loan fee! He's not there for a year for nothing!

Even if it’s a £10m loan fee (which it won’t be) it’s still a good deal.

After how many attempts we made for a similar deal last year along with how closely we followed him at Braga I’m amazed we weren’t in for him.... unless 3/5 at the back is the new plan A 🤦🏼‍♂️

Calling £35mn as a 'good deal' when you've not seen him in the PL yet is a big call; but fair enough.

You don't want to buy some furniture do you? I value it at £8mn; but you can take it on loan for £1mn; option to buy of £4mn after the 12 months?

Barcelona didn't want to sell to strengthen an upcoming European regular team so he's gone Wolves instead.  No biggie.

Fuming if we don't get a right winger in.

This is bizarre, we were willing to chuff up £40m for him after a 2 year loan so what has changed. You can't even say its because we're going 3-4-1-2 because we still are 2 players short for it, possibly 3. Therefore we must have someone else lined up.

Can’t win them all. Reckon we’ll sign a wide forward, we’ve not been linked to in the press yet. Watch this space

He went for ~£30m a year ago, realistically the loan fee isn’t £10m so Wolves likely have a try before you buy on a high-ceiling young footballer that Barca are just about breaking even on. If it doesn’t work, they don’t pay the £25m.

All of the numbers are insane, but that’s modern football. A highly rated young winger at top European club won’t leave for £30m very often, it’s only possible because of their money issues.

Even the likes of Saka would go for double that from Arsenal. Burnley value McNeil at £50-70m.

Loan with an option to buy could’ve been perfect as well if we have limited funds due to the Soumaré and Daka acquisitions.

Got to be after some one better…
