Is this their way of crowdfunding for Rodgers severance package?

Come on lads, if 50,000 of us buy a grossly over-priced Bomber Jacket we can get him out the door

Can't cost much more than a quid to make that.

Taking the piss.

The club seems to be disjointed in every department. Also not sure why we need the constant connections with Thailand. In our 138 year history we’ve been owned by a business group from the country for only 12 years of it. I’d really appreciate more nods to before that. I really enjoyed the evening a few years ago, that had Heskey, Taggart, Cottee and Elliot launching the retro kits of the O’Neill era, despite hearing every story before! The stadium looked better with the old scoreboards, the faded blue collages of ex players and so on. I really worry about the new extension and expansion of the stadium area that will be irreversible, but unlikely to be a personal experience for Leicester city fans. I was frustrated that the club didn’t do enough regarding the mens team vacating belvoir drive, commemorating the history that has been made at that training ground. Instead it was only about celebrating the new.(It’s a tremendous new facility clearly, but football for supporters isn’t always about the present).

They are looking to put a museum in as part of the expansion

Yes which is a positive step on the face of it. However, I would argue what will likely be in the museum. To make it financially/visitor numbers viable they may make it interesting to those who are only familiar with our popular and recent history. Instead of stories about running up Jock’s hill or the clubs formation that took place on Fosse road and so on, we may see a museum that is only interested in the title win and European adventures. They will have certainly taken notice of the record visitor numbers to New Walk Museum’s exhibition about our title win. Hopefully the leadership group of the club remain independent to the contents of the museum and it is a fitting history of our whole history.

The price on some of that clobber is extortionate.

Knowing the club it'll barely be any better quality than ASOS own brand too.

Wife bought me a very expensive zip up hoody from there (modelled by harvey barnes) for Xmas one year, I said to her thanks for thought but don't get anymore clobber from there, the quality is crap and over priced. I had better quality stuff from there when we were in the championship

To be honest, I have always thought that the quality of merchandise available from Leicester Tigers both online and from the club shop is of far better quality - still expensive but just better quality and better design. More diverse too with some goods reflecting the club's history.

The Tiger's club shop is only just down the road from the KP, perhaps someone from the club should go for a walk down there and take a look.

That is a complete disgrace.

People unable to pay bills, feed their families and the club want £200 for a naff bomber jacket.

Disgusting, especially with the price of tickets rising and so on. Someone who designed and planned this clothing range and the prices is completely out of touch.

I didn't mind the look of the fox and crop stuff, but I think they are phasing it out by the looks of it. It also didn't really help them with the LCFC brand.

I like the connection with Thailand on these Thai Song Dum collection pieces. The Fox head one for £28 says it is hand sewn - taking 3 - 5 days to make. The £65 doesn't say that, but I assume it is. They've not done well to explain the connection or who TSD are.

Generally though, the shopping experience in the shop itself isn't great. And the range of items available is quite poor online as well. It's good to see our kit turning up on sites like JD Sports though.

Promoting Thai wisdom to the world, the Club’s latest retail launch is borne from King Power International’s ongoing efforts to support traditional production methods in Thai communities. The range includes three traditional textile techniques, hand-stitched on piew material and layered patchwork, resulting in a truly authentic set of products.

‘Thai Song Dum’ incorporates hand-woven natural cotton textile with traditional shuttle loom used by the Thai Song Dum community in Baan Don Manao Sub-District, Song Pi Nong District, to create environmentally-friendly and sustainable sportswear. The collection also reflects historical, philosophical and mindful traits in the Thai Song Dum wisdom, passed through generations for hundreds of years.

Speaking prior to the launch, Mrs. Khwanyuen Thongdonjuy, fifth generation of the Thai Song Dum community and head of the Baan Don Manao Textile Weaving Group, explains how ancient textile wisdom passed from older Vietnamese generations who had migrated during the Thon Buri Period, while emphasising the modern community’s pride in today’s unveiling.

“Thai Song Dum people in Suphan Buri Province settled in Baan Don Manao in 1900 and brought with them exceptional textile wisdom. They combined weaving, embroidery and dyeing to create traditional tribal clothing for the community. Today, we are proud to be able to showcase Thai Song Dum’s unique craftsmanship and wisdom in this collection, in which the villagers in Don Manao worked hard and put their passion and care into every item”.

Genuinely getting fed up with this whole “Thai connection.” The club was established in 1884, for only twelve years has there been a link. All feels a bit military dictatorship like.

But, but, we get a warm Chang once in a blue moon!!!

Needs to be on the shop site as well, and with each product.
