league 1 is ****ing tough isn't it!!

Sunderland

Sheff Weds

Ipswich

Portsmouth

Wigan

Rotherham

Charlton

Not surprised there are big teams that can't get out year after year

When we were in league 1 the biggest team apart from us and Leeds were what, Peterborough?

How we feeling about this? @SAFC1

100% the right decision. We played some lovely stuff with a young side but as soon as a team got physical and in our faces we didn’t fancy it. Weak as piss. Not much experience. No plan B at all. Battered away from home many times this season. Gutted it didn’t work out but that squad is good enough for top 2 IMO. 17 league games left to do the business.

Thought the decision was a bit harsh, two points from top and they pull the trigger after a bad result. Don't like Johnson anyway seems like an arsehole. Wonder whose next for the Black cats? Nigel Clough? seeing his father's connection with the club and Nigel was born in the town too... doing okay at Mansfield as well in outstanding form.

They've had a bit of bad spell recently. Lost at home to Lincoln. Draws to ten men Accrington and blew a lead to Wycombe

Away from home too that was about the fourth utter hammering

4-0 away at Portsmouth

5-1 away at Rotherham

3-0 away at Wednesday

I thought it was pretty harsh, but Wigan have about 5 games in hand and Rotherham have 2 I think

Kisnorbo being linked to the Sunderland job according to a few twitter rumours.

Currently at oxford. Have to say very less impressed with the kassam stadium. Such a bleak, soulless stadium. Miles from anyway. Lacks character, only three sided, dull concourse with no screens. No wonder there wanting a move.

Sounds like you got a great game though

Sunderland will fall out of the play off places at this rate.

Watched it online. Doncaster should have been about 4 or 5 up at half time.

Sure Sunderland had one clearly over the line in the second half but not given.

Indeed it was said by the club it was oxford United coaching staff. Seem to all go off soon as the players headed down the tunnel. To the credit to staff they reactly very quickly. Hope who ever it was is okay.

The match was delayed by 20 minutes, which kind of buggered me for train home. Left the ground at 70th at 1-2 Pompey. Got outside to find no local cab or uber will to come. The signs for the bus zone was non existent. Loads of fans just didnt know where to stand. The staff didnt seem sure either. Eventually a bus driver going the other way told where to stand. Waited about three minutes and yep missed everything. Bus arrived with our number going to city centre. Decided to park long way down the road, as some fans where banging and knocking the windows to signal for him to stop. Only for him to finally stop and shout aggressively at fans not bang the windows. Threatening to drive off. Everyone squeezing on. With the both only half full, he kindly shut the doors on them and drove off. Got back to the city.. missed our train, the next one on was also cancelled 😆 so to hour wait for train back... yep a fun day 😉

Good game even the 65 minutes I seen. Very scrappy game never seen a physio come on as much for treatment.
