I know there's a war on and all that, but was there any reason for Sky Sports to depict Mark Hughes as the harbinger of the end of days?

I'm sorry come again

Seems to be the reaction of most Bradford fans lol not sure how they've managed that!

I mean I can't stand the bloke and he was useless in his last job.... but he's never managed outside the Prem so...

That seems a strange move.

Yes, he's got experience in higher leagues, but seems to falter where ever he has been.

Bradford are certainly a sleeping giant, given their regional population and decent stadium etc.

What an appointment that is for the Bantams lol

There were rumours it was going to be Wellens with Jewleh DOF and that would have been class as well.

Yeah he's a bit dry but he's had a good managerial record, isnt he notoriously like Clough on the training pitch constantly mugging off the players though? That's gonna be hilarious at this level

It's going to be spectacular either way- he'll lead them to promotion next year because he can attract all the quality League Two players or he's absolutely hopeless at that level and burns out quickly.

Fair play to him for dropping down divisions.

Hope he does well tbf, I'd like to see Bradford in the second tier at least.

Love the bit about Hughes agents email going straight into Junk and their young CEO only just spotting it lol

I like the club, like you say would like to see them further up, great ground, also quite liked the city when I visited to buy a car a few years ago.

Typical Lincoln.  Lose at home to Gillingham and Doncaster but beat Sheffield Wednesday.

It really is a batshit league, logic and coupons goes out the window

Went to Bradford today. They were utter shite for the majority, but didn’t get helped with the refereeing. Shambles.

Port Vale brought about 750, which is a lot from what I’ve seen, they looked like they had a cracking day out and made plenty of noise.

So Joey Barton could go to jail and see his team promoted?

Its madness that any club would hire the guy is a nutcase who deserves to behind bars. From every player that's worked with him, I've not heard one good thing about him other than he beat up someone on the training ground. Hes worse than our Gary Wackett 😂

Port Vale were going well, fell off a bit now. Would be nice to see them get out of League 2.

So tight though, from 10th all the way up to 2nd really.

Great player, always impressed with his enthusiasm and energy. Maybe he was under used for England. Be sad not to see him play again, perhaps we'll see him in soccer aid.
