We’ve started the season very well but Johnson has a reputation for going on long runs without a win… We’ll see how we respond when a bad result does come.

Yeah he always seemed to have Bristol City around the top 6 every season before tailing off.

It reminds me of the goal scored by Thierry Henry against Blackburn (?) years ago, where the goalkeeper was about to kick it after putting the ball out of his hand.

Edit: After checking this incident via Google, the referee actually disallowed Henry's goal.

Agreed. Amazing none of the defenders gave him a shout.

Seems to have kick-started their season, they won 6-0 tonight.

Cloughie Jnr having a tough old time of it at Mansfield - just above the bottom two.

Sutton United holding their own in League Two.

Just back from Northampton v Sutton.

Sutton very impressive, fast paced one touch football.

Northampton were absolutely abysmal. Hit and hope.

I thought Mansfield would be top 7 this season. Included them for that on my season bet lol How wrong was I.

Bad day at the office. Shame for the fans who travelled. Over 2000 sold out away end.

You must be pleased with the start you've made though.

4-0 win at Fratton Park for Ipswich tonight. Starting to improve at last. Portsmouth almost in the bottom 4.

Finally getting going maybe after an inconsistent start?

Pompey struggling but not as bad as Charlton - not sure what has gone on there!?

They seem to be hitting their stride yeah. Could be a good bet for a playoff place. Think autos is probably a stretch too far now.

Charlton lost Bowyer to Birmingham this summer that's probably a big part of it

I was there with my son, Pompey were truly horrific. I did feel for their fans (who never stopped chanting) telling my son, that though we were in league 1, we blitzed that league.

A real fall from Grace and a reminder of how lucky we as LCFC fans have it currently. Hirst looked more willing when he came on then Marquis.

You called it

Better team won on the day. They were first to every second ball, really fancied it. 3 tough away games up next. QPR (cup), Rotherham and Sheff Wed in the league.
