He slides perpendicular to him in an attempt to block the anticipated cutback but the guy keeps going instead and angles into Cags once he's already on the ground. Doesn't matter now I suppose He slid across him and he tripped over his arse. Its a pen.
Sir Shep Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 No panic yet, 2 more games and Perez will be back. 1
An Away Move Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 (edited) A tale of two penalties. One that was never a penalty given because the player bought it. One that was a stonewall penalty on Vardy not given because he didn’t go down. Vardy’s decision has changed the dynamic of this game. Would have been two nil if he had activated his brain. Could have been three actually if he’d have put Barnes in. Edited 28 August 2021 by An Away Move
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 Accommodating Barnes forces our hand in formation and playing a right winger Perez/ Albrighton who are worse than the subs. He’s had a poor season so far. Sweeper and/or help for Vardy more needed

That being said 2 seasons in a row we’ve lost a lot of momentum in the run in and it looks like this season its carried over. Rodgers looks clueless on how to fix it. If he went he’d be going on a high, personally i hope a big club comes to poach him, he’s definitely started to go stale. 'go stale'. We won the FA cup about 5 competitive games ago I don't disagree there are some things to fix, but I think be careful what you wish for applies here. I personally think Rodgers going will signal a bit of a drop down the table for us. It'd be incredibly difficult to get someone in who could kick us up from what he's done.
South Shire Fox Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 Id generally think about bringing KDH on for some composure and someone who can run with the ball. Somethings got to change because this team/formation isnt doing it 3

An Away Move Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 What an infuriating first half. Hopefully with some changes we’ll still win this.

Would need us to change formation Also, we could easily substitute Iheanacho or Soumare for Maddison if you want to keep the formation. We have to change it if we don’t get a good RW.
ARM1968 Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 Going pretty much as expected. Narch with the winner on 78mins. This is not just about injuries. 2GK on the bench? Something is amiss here.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 We should be good enough to get back ahead in this. Nacho off the bench to get the winner

TheStig Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 When did we actually play a good match? I can´t remember.....
steveb Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 Iheanacho is the top rated top scoring premiership striker since March, only an idiot wouldn`t play him, same idiot who picks the Lecester team at the moment 1
reynard Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 We need to make some changes here or we will likely lose this one.

Clever Fox Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 We need to settle down and play some football, We're playing too fast and making too many mistakes.
Hales Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 I really don't understand what's going on? They should be riding high with confidence. 2 trophies in the cabinet - most recently beating Man City to win. What's going on?
justfoxes Posted 28 August 2021 Posted 28 August 2021 Does anyone else get nervous when Cags is on the ball near our box ?
