It'll be interesting to see how Leicester go on today as an indication of the season ahead.  Realistically I see City competing with Villa, Birmingham, Brighton and Reading in the bottom 5 this season so points in games with them will be crucial.  West Ham and Spurs look a little stronger, but not hugely.

 

Recruitment has been a little underwhelming other than McManus and maybe Sigsworth.  But maybe there is a hidden gem or two amongst the other signings.

 

Either way, exciting times for the club and good luck to them.

Please don’t misconstrue this comment, but I wonder if the women’s team needs it own dedicated section? If it grows in popularity and gets some real traction, it could make this section very busy/confusing once gossip/transfers/injuries etc come

Listening to Jonathan Morgan on the radio the other day, it seems they have been exceptionally harsh and offloaded half of the squad - saying stuff like 70% just didn’t want to go along with the new philosophy (not sure what he meant) but it seems like on high are really pushing the team!
