For me we need that creativity in midfield... I'd go like this if no Evans in a 4231:

                       Kasper

Ricardo Soyuncu Lestaguard Bertrand

              Tielemans Ndidi

     Lookman  Madman Barnman

                       Vardy

Yup. He's in the cross hairs. It's what happens; people become aware of something so they look out for it, call it out when they see it.

From day one, people have known he's got 'a mistake in him' (didn't BR say exactly that?) Sure, he's using up his season's quota in a handful of matches but he's still a decent defender (albeit one with the  aforementioned  bombscare tendencies) and, more importantly, better than our neglible (important word that, in our position) alternatives.

He needs a run of games to get his confidence back. And for people not to get on his back.

Yes!

We all witnessed that moment in the Bournemouth game last season (or was it the season before?, eish age) he has that in his game, but he’s still awesome and a proper decent player, let’s keep him out of the cross hairs please.

I agree. He does far far more good things than bad. It's openly acknowledged that we are a little bit weaker in the centre half position at the moment due to injury and just having Ndidi and Tielemans in front of them accentuates that problem for me greatly.

Ndidi is a sound player but you just cannot expect Tielemans to be defensive and creative at the same time alongside him because if anything, he's only mediocre at the former. Even Ndidi is looking vulnerable at times because of work overload and some are questioning his performances or abilities. Quite simply they need help imo.

Stick Soumare in there and you'd surely strengthen the midfield, protect the back 4 more and allow Tielemans to do what he does best. Have we learned nothing from three encounters with West Ham by now? Opposition managers appear to have sussed it too.

To merely blame an under pressure Soyuncu it quite unfair I feel because it ignores a problem we've had arguably since the start of the season.

As they say, “this”

exactly this.

Agree except dropping Soyuncu.
He’s still our number 1 defender with Lil Wes and Evans out.
I can’t help but feel the pitchforks are incorrectly aimed at him right now.

I think he's been a calamity so far this season, hidden by better players playing alongside him.

From the BBC website:

Leicester City

  • Leicester have lost five of their past eight Premier League fixtures (W3), the same number of defeats they sustained in their previous 24 matches.
  • They have kept just one clean sheet in their past 10 league games. Both teams have scored in each of Leicester's last nine top-flight away fixtures.
  • The Foxes have recorded a league-low 29 shots this season. They're averaging just 7.3 shots per game, more than five fewer than last season.
  • Leicester's last five Premier League games played on Sundays have produced a total of 23 goals.
  • Striker Jamie Vardy could become the first Leicester player to reach 250 Premier League appearances in this match. He's already the Foxes leading appearance maker, goal scorer (120) and assist provider (39) in the Premier League.

Yeah, I'd still pick Soyunchu over Armatey but it seems as though Soyunchu is making mistakes every single game now and they are beginning to cost us.

Personally, I think there's a lot more he could have done to prevent the Napoli goal too.

I'm massively underwhelmed at how poor he is compared to how good I thought he was at first.

Does anyone have a streaming link for this match I just assumed it would be on BT or Sky. Thanks a lot.

It’ll be on hesgoal or you could buy an alternative. Do pubs ever show these non-UK TV games these days? In London and be good to watch out

I think pubs will show the match if it’s on BT or Sky Sports. But as this is not on either I doubt pubs will show it.
