LCFC hub Posted 18 September 2021 Posted 18 September 2021 Can't believe this game isn't live on TV tomorrow and there's only 3 PL games on all day.

Hope he gets some minutes in this run of games up to the international break. Same. Also pissed me off a bit on Thursday with Daka being pushed to right mid and Perez coming into the middle. Perez was playing well right mid as well. Subs were odd and I wasn’t 100% convinced by BR’s answers. Maybe KDH isn’t outperforming in training yet. For me, BR’s weakness is that if he doesn’t 110% trust you immediately, you don’t get a look in and he goes back to those who have done it before, even if they are out of form. That’s as negative as I’m gonna get though Interesting one tomorrow with Potter (the new media darling) v Rodgers. Battle of two managers with similar philosophies 4

Kierzz Posted 18 September 2021 Posted 18 September 2021 Does anyone know any pubs in Leicester that still stream the games?

Mike Oxlong Posted 19 September 2021 Posted 19 September 2021 I’ve just had a dream that we were 5-0 down after 6 minutes ! Had been hoping for a bit of a lie in after a late night but have never been so happy to wake up early

Aus Fox Posted 19 September 2021 Posted 19 September 2021 Comfortable 2 - 0 win coming up here, Barnes and Vardy to score. Come on you Foxes! 1

FoxesWalk Posted 19 September 2021 Posted 19 September 2021 We tend to turn up vs Brighton, but I’m not very confident given how poor we have been so far this season. Hopefully he shuffles the deck, Nacho should start, but I doubt it. Have a bad feeling about this one. Brighton to win 2-1
adejo92 Posted 19 September 2021 Posted 19 September 2021 Can't under estimate these however we are by far the better team overall so long as we turn up with the right attitude and fight. Despite the loss to Man City, and the disappointing draw to Napoli, I actually think our performance in those matches has been an improvement. We're prone to sloppy mistakes, which are costing us more and more, but damn there's some quality when we switch it on. That said, would like to see Soyunchu & Maddison dropped. Also think that Lookman will tear a tiring Brighton team apart. 1

I can’t help but feel the pitchforks are incorrectly aimed at him right now.

He's in the cross hairs. It's what happens; people become aware of something so they look out for it, call it out when they see it. From day one, people have known he's got 'a mistake in him' (didn't BR say exactly that?) Sure, he's using up his season's quota in a handful of matches but he's still a decent defender (albeit one with the aforementioned bombscare tendencies) and, more importantly, better than our neglible (important word that, in our position) alternatives. He needs a run of games to get his confidence back. And for people not to get on his back.

I can’t help but feel the pitchforks are incorrectly aimed at him right now. I agree. He does far far more good things than bad. It's openly acknowledged that we are a little bit weaker in the centre half position at the moment due to injury and just having Ndidi and Tielemans in front of them accentuates that problem for me greatly. Ndidi is a sound player but you just cannot expect Tielemans to be defensive and creative at the same time alongside him because if anything, he's only mediocre at the former. Even Ndidi is looking vulnerable at times because of work overload and some are questioning his performances or abilities. Quite simply they need help imo. Stick Soumare in there and you'd surely strengthen the midfield, protect the back 4 more and allow Tielemans to do what he does best. Have we learned nothing from three encounters with West Ham by now? Opposition managers appear to have sussed it too. To merely blame an under pressure Soyuncu it quite unfair I feel because it ignores a problem we've had arguably since the start of the season. 2
drumbeat Posted 19 September 2021 Posted 19 September 2021 Yes, a Cags goal (their end obviously) would be just the tonic for the lad. I've seen a training video where he right hammered one in from range. Oh, I'd love to see his reaction if he got a 30 yard screamer. 1
Bayfox Posted 19 September 2021 Posted 19 September 2021 Well for the 1st time in like 2 years. I need a stream. Amy ideas. Hesgoal still the one to go 2?
matty98 Posted 19 September 2021 Posted 19 September 2021 Think this will be a very tough game today. Hope we take a more attacking approach as it's becoming a bit stale this defense first style.
CloudFox Posted 19 September 2021 Posted 19 September 2021 Brighton are a good team, today will be a tough test. Fingers crossed we win. If our midfield gets out of this poor rut of form (Ndidi aside) then we'll be okay. That's our biggest weakness at the moment - losing possession and control too often in midfield. Would like to see a three of Ndidi, Tielemans and Soumaré or KDH.
