Oh dear Jack Butland.

 

Finally!! A commentator calls it out for what it is! Not sure who's on comms, but he's just said, what is this obsession with playing out from the back, keepers and defence's playing themselves into trouble? (Edit - Think it's Dean Ashton)

 

I just don't get it but people seem to lap it up.

It’s not good for them though is it? They are booing an anti racism message. I’m fine with them not taking the knee (as they know their fans would just boo every time). But their fans booing when others choose to is embarrassing. They must be so thick.

It’s like anything. Too much of one thing can force you into bad errors. Playing it out scuppers you if the other team presses right, but hoofing it can just simply give it back. Just a healthy balance never harms!

Burnley named a strong side, no doubt to get a confidence boost, and have been dumped out the cup by Huddersfield. Seen it before, a confidence knocking cup defeat to a lower league team spells disaster, and I think Burnley will go down this year now.
