Shouldn't the ref make the team aware once all subs are used up?

 

Similarly to this, Wolfsburg were thrown out of the German cup.

Personally think that's unfair to Bradford, having to travel a large distance again due to Exeter's fault.

Shame that Bradford weren't awarded a 3-0 win as a result of this.

Apparently it’s not up to the officials to do so but guess some common sense could have been used .

 

Apparently Bradford wanted to bring a 6th sub on but  weren’t allowed to!

 

Suggestion is no one really knew the rules in the first place .

Just read the details. Apparently officials said yes 6th sub was allowed, Exeter made a 6th sub and Bradford's 6th sub was turned down. String of errors there. Hence why Exeter have not been thrown out.

That's why subs should be left at three, no complaints or confusion. 

 

Also wouldn't it be easier to play this tie on the 4th December, then just push back 2nd round match to 14th December. Least then it's better for Bradford to travel down.

It's on ITV4 on Monday. Coverage starts at 18:45 so assume draw will start around 19:00?

Apparently the draw will happen after the match on Monday.

Mansfield 3 up at Doncaster, albeit Doncaster not having a great season but niether are Mansfield.
