And surely that's a penalty? Keeper has taken out the player (the fact that it's his own defender is irrelevant, it's still a foul - according to Stevie Wonder at VAR headquarters). I hate VAR, and the corrupt officials administering it.

I notice Klopp is happy to put a team of mostly kids out for this game even though they have just as many missing players as 3 days ago when they shut their training ground down to get the Arsenal game called off. Matip and Firmino are back available but TAA has it now too. 

 

The cynic in me says that's probably why the authorities have changed the rule so that a cup appearances don't count for the league rules of eligible players when deciding to call games off. Liverpool and the other clubs probably been in their ear.
