Sorry if its been answered but why as the cup holders are the trophy ribbons red as appose to ours?

I don't think the FA Cup title works in the same way it does for the Premier League. We get to keep the version of the FA Cup won in last year's competition, 2021 is ours. There's a new FA Cup trophy made every year. The Premier League "Crown", The Football League "Lady", even The World Cup are one of a kind trophies in their own rite - you get to hold the trophy for your reign, then after get to keep a replica.

As to try to answer your actual question: why were the ribbons red?

The FA Cup is the Emirates FA Cup. They've paid alot of money to sponsor this prestigious competition and a part of it is being able to adorn the (unclaimed)trophy in their own company colours.

Still can’t quite get over this 3 minutes and 45 seconds lol I wouldn’t mind but the amount of times VAR seems to miss things because they’re only focused on 1 thing but not this time they went for the whole lot, offside, handball and off the ball foul.

Imagine there was timer on VAR decisions where the panel at stockley park have got just 90 seconds to make there decision. If they don't find anything within 90 seconds the decision automatically goes back to the original on field referee's decision.

Man Utd and Liverpool games being shown is rubbish. At home to EFL sides.

Yes I know they pull in the big numbers but even so, I'd rather watch an all-EFL or (non-lead) tie than them.

Aside from Man Utd and Spurs games they aren't too bad. I think Cambridge v Luton and one of Palace v Hartlepool or Southampton v Coventry should have been picked instead.

And Liverpool.

Agreed. It'd be okay if there was a potential upset but Cardiff aren't good enough to do that.

If it was Cardiff vs Liverpool then fair enough. But a top side at home to an EFL side has no attraction at all.

I think the tv companies grab any opportunity to televise any of the so called big six. To them that's where the big tv figures will come from but for a netrual you know it's a pretty one sided affair with a biased ref favouring the big club at home.
