And if there are empty seats, the club can run events such as free tickets for school kids, or some cheaper games. You get fans hooked by getting them to games when they are young. There is a whole generation of kids that are being priced out and the club doesn't have the vision to look beyond maximising short term profits.

Totally agree - cheap or free tickets to younger fans is definitely a good idea 👍

I’m sure we used to do £10 football on midweek games, pretty much the only time I’d be taken was when offers like that happened

The decision not to expand after the title win could be the single worst made under King Power.

True in hindsight but by the time we would have ready to start building we were mid table puel and it may well have been when vichai was killed

could have put it on the back burner then aswell

Clubs up and down the FL do kids for a quid and similar offers already.I’m sure Leicester City will do the same once demand drops.Just like we did in the past

It’s not like the old days when groups of school age mates could just rock up.Now you have to be accompanied by an adult.Which makes filling the empty seats a bit more fiddly

Absolutely missed a trick not doing this when we won the league. However waiting until we are back in the prem would be a mistake imo.If the club doesn’t have ambition and vision to move forward now it will be years until it happens.Get some momentum going and it will more attractive to possible investors.Otherwise we will be seriously left behind.

We were still selling out every week under Puel, would have been an ideal time

So had we gone for a new stadium after our title win the timing would have been great for the period immediately after Puel.  Hindsight, and all that, but what could have been ...

So since the KP first announced plans to expand the stadium. Everton with all their problems built a whole new stadium?and so did spurs and now Birmingham city announced its plans. The KP stadium expansion.Just needs to be built. There has to  be money for it otherwise it would never have been sold so much to everybody.

How about waiting until we are in League 1?

The current 'Old Ground' development on Filbert Street/Lineker Road has still referenced the stadium plans.

"Being only a stone's throw away from these exciting new developments, The Old Ground is ideally placed to take advantage of the increase in rental demand these will bring to the local area."

Wouldn't you mention it if you were trying to flog flats?

Life under King Power continues.

Will wait to see if it actually progress, otherwise it’ll stay in the realm of our and Wolves masterplans.

Without establishing a steady performing football team, a decision to extend would be shocking. The board need to understand the predicament, they can’t act like a top half premier team and have a team that plays like league 1! This should be on the back burners until we start filling our current capacity. Do they not see the empty seats?

It won’t happen whilst King Power are here. We won’t ever get back to the premier league under them imo.
