Add this to the list of **** ups.

Has there been any official comms to say this has been cancelled?

Of course there hasn't been as that would be them admitting failure, and KPFC don't fail do they comrade!

I’m not sure they would communicate it though would they. If we are to be sold, having planning in place for this would boost the value of the club so coming out and actively saying this isn’t happening probably doesn’t make sense.

Although I get the point about communication.

Edit: apparently building works must start by Dec 2027.

You don't need to do much to make a 'meaningful start' and secure planning permission indefinitely.

Thought as much, just wasn't sure if I'd just not seen it.

They should communicate it though. They don't need to say it's never happening, but they could say it's on hold.

We had an attendance of about 15000 the other day, attendances have been sliding for the past 3 seasons as have the club down the divisions. Is it really needed?

I’m not seeing diggers on the ground, it seems pretty obvious this is on hold. That said, I suppose the only question left unanswered for me is whether our lack of spending on anything is purely driven by our ridiculous wage bill and the debts to Maquary, or when that is all sorted will we see any investment. I do think I know the answer though.

Not saying it's needed. But it was more than the expansion, it was the development of the area too etc. It should still be communicated, even if it is stating the obvious imo.

The amount of times i think about making a comment and then think what's the point. Is everyone else struggling to connect with the Club? It's starting to remind me of my second marriage.

I’m asking is the statement needed, not the expansion.

I think it's needed

we are being left behind when we should of expanded years ago

KP needs to shape up and sort the expansion or get some investment if money is a problem or sell up

I’m sure we used to do £10 football on midweek games, pretty much the only time I’d be taken was when offers like that happened

Was a fiver for my 9 year old to go to WBA, bought before Christmas

Pick your arguments better lads, this ones a non starter. Predominantly as without guaranteed PL football for a few years it's a correct decision. Also a bit of a poor one to put across while a boycott has limited an attendance to around 15k

At least it looks like there's a good chance of a chunk of it falling into the Trent

It’s a real hotch pot.The Trent end which looks like it going to be the Trent side will have to be colossal.Like I said a real mess of a stadium design,,but I have to admit i quite like it.

Are we aware of any questions/answers/info about this expansion from the interview Top did yesterday?

I think we all know it'd be lip service that he provides regardless, but if no questions asked it could indicate that the club requested it wasn't brought up as a topic.

Speculative to come to that conclusion, granted. But I think it's a fair assumption to make if there was no discussion at all about it...

I guess we’ll find out on Tuesday but I’ll hazard a guess at no.

most likely.

Pretty ridiculous if BBC had time with the owner which is a rarity and this wasn’t even a question for them to bat away and deflect.

If we drop to League 1, this definitely won’t need to happen.

Agreed, we might as well go the whole hog and make it a 100k seater.
