They have well and truly run their course I think, they are left lying around and not just inside the stadium, you see them discarded all over the place, the noise they make is awful especially when paired with the cringeworthy music that blarts out when we score and after the match, out of interest what was the first game they were ever supplied ?

West Ham April 2015, first game of the great escape. 2-1 win,  king in the last few mins. Although I think I recall them being there as a one off for the Thursday night Watford home playoff game 2013..?

Turn the PA system off 15 minutes before kick off like they do at Old Trafford

Says it all that the club that’s ownership is in open warfare with its core fanbase does loads more than we do in terms of supporter engagement

Think that's about correct.

Every Monday night in the 1990's, 6pm, Radio Leicester:

"So that was Steve from Beaumont Leys asking how to improve the atmosphere at Filbert street, next on the line we have Andy from Long Eaton, good evening Andy...."

That was after they made the Kop all-seater and built the Carling Stand. That was end of the Filbert Street that we grew up with.

Would be equally as toss. None of them have ever paid to stand on a terrace. Have little experience of fan culture.

...you do not have to put your finger in a fire to know it is going to hurt!!!

The mere fact that they are addressing the issue, is half the battle won. Let us see what happens before we write off their contributions.

Will believe it when we see it.

Worse atmosphere at away game I've ever been too. Hardly any fans were chanting much even before we conceded the goals.

Bizarre really. It was decent in the concourse for the 15 minutes leading up to kick off.... in the stands it was hard work getting anything going.

I hope the cretin who ran on the pitch swinging is proud of himself - made us all look like a right bunch of ****s.

People were saying it sounded good, it didn't to me, the atmosphere sounded awful.  I guess people have different barometers.  It's gotten to the point that I don't think it would've been much better if we'd won 4-1.

That's what confused me the most. Everyone was going mental in the concourse and then after about 5 minutes into the game hardly anyone is chanting.

Can’t have been to many away games then, been plenty worse than that.

Didn’t sound all that great on the tv, but I can’t blame everyone for being shellshocked from the 30th minute onwards. Don’t usually say this kind of thing but I hope the players got a bit of abuse when (if?) they came over afterwards.

Went away in the Jock Wallace era fantastic every away game Don’t go now from what I see on the TV

it is full of silver haired folk and looks like they have turned up on a community bus , but unfortunately

this is what the club appears to want They make it very difficult for many fans to get away tickets

Can there not be a mix of ppl at the away games?? Old, kids, women etc?? It doesnt all have to be yobs that give the club a bad name

Away ends full of old women questioning if I’m going to the right seat because she had to take her blanket off her knee to let me past and young lads watching everything through a phone screen isn’t what makes me tick im afraid.

So you last went in 1981 ? No offence how can you have a opinion on away support when you’ve openly admitted you haven’t been in over 40 years ?

My observations are backed up by the majority complaining here every week. The clappers , the lack of availability of away tickets ,it is attempting to change and has altered the fan base. There used to be buses organised by pubs all around the city to away games It is sanitised this day
