I wouldn't put Maupay and Sargent in the same bracket.

 

Unfortunately our options are limited. We're not in a position to sign a proven striker who we know will be a success for us. We have to take a gamble on somebody.

Short answer is no but like I said last night, if there are 2 PL clubs interested and you rule out Newcastle and the top 6, along with Everton of course. There is a 2/12 chance that we are one of them. Would you bet against it?

I think this is the worry, no solid link, but his profile, from what we have already seen this window, is very much Coopers idea of what he believes is a good player. Loads of premier league experience, runs alot, doesn't score.

I wouldn't be against Sargent as his records got better each season he's played.

Certainly a better option to help Vardy out than what we currently have,
