Jon the Hat Posted 29 August 2022 Posted 29 August 2022 You lot have gone mental. Who cares where he has the medical? He is gone. Forget it. If we havn't got deals 90% done a week ago that is our clubs fault, not Fofana's and not Chelsea's. 1

Fazzer 7 Posted 29 August 2022 Posted 29 August 2022 Think of all that co2 they’re pumping out flying the lad over there in a private jet. Imagine if it was one of the royals 😂

Well that’s the reason he’s more than likely been sent to see a specialist, that the owner obviously trusts. With an investment like Fofana, who’s cost them a fortune and is potentially a world class player, they will want to make sure that he is fully fit and that there won’t be any setbacks before he completes the deal.

That or, if you're a cynic, he's being sent to a specialist the owner owns who's going to magically find a reason Fofana should cost fifteen million less, even though they'll still want to sign him. 3

Possibly but can they even demand a lower fee if a niggle is found? I mean surely it’s either take him or pull out? That’s the risk they have to take? Once a fee is agreed you can’t go back surely? Popular Post SkidsFox Posted 29 August 2022 Popular Post Posted 29 August 2022 Would be an awful shame if he failed the medical, and was forced to play the rest of his career at little old Leicester... 4 3

If you are not a cynic when discussing football , you are living in cloud cuckoo land. Having said that Chelsea appear to ridiculously overpay for everybody. Their worry I think is that Fofana might be a risk too far and they could be right.
ian__marshall Posted 29 August 2022 Posted 29 August 2022 Thing I don't get is why Fofana is going to the US. Surely with the money at stake you'd fly the Consultant to the UK, not the other way around. More importantly I'm surprised that LCFC have sanctioned this. What happens if he gets injured whilst travelling? 2
Popular Post taupe Posted 29 August 2022 Popular Post Posted 29 August 2022 Be relieved, it'll be quicker in the US, albeit more expensive. You try getting a doctor's appt on a bank holiday Monday. 6

Trav Le Bleu Posted 29 August 2022 Posted 29 August 2022 Should've flown him to eastern Ukraine for his medical. 2
StarkFox Posted 29 August 2022 Posted 29 August 2022 When’s the transfer window shut? Is it 11PM on Wednesday night?

What happens if he gets injured whilst travelling? Jeez, he could trip and do his knee on a lose paving stone outside a Chelsea medial centre too! Please chill out people. There's nothing weird or improper going on here. The US doc(s) will have their own equipment and measuring devices. If Boehly respects the opinions of the ones he knows (the LA Dodgers ones??) then that's cool. His call. All will become clear in time. I don't anticipate any problem and the deal will go through soon enough. Any potential deals for incoming will be on a holding pattern, we'll not miss out. 1

It’s not mainly his money either - Clearlake own 60% it’s possible the underwriters have insisted on the medical being done over there ?? 1

Here’s your money but you can do feck all with it now. Bye. Not a chance it will. It doesn’t work like going in a shop and buying a pair of trainers.

Even by Foxestalk standards there's so much nonsense in here. We will have had talks with players/agents several weeks ago. Now we progress things & they will be ready to go.
