Not having a happy schooling or childhood usually equates to not liking the area you were brought up in. That’s not a reflection on you as a person or an adult, it’s just bad luck. Kids are v cruel. Have you considered your condescending and arrogant comments that you are unable to back up are a ‘fine example of exactly the kind of thing’ you’ve been trying to explain

A football club is something that becomes part of your identity. That's how I feel about football in general to be honest man. I love the sport and also attending games but a lot of the fans that follow the same sport also completely let it down and make it sort of embarrassing to be associated with.

woodland fox Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 4000+ away tickets on sale for the Forest game I can't get a ticket 3000+ away tickets allocation I have been to almost every away game with good points on my season ticket People I know who have not even got season tickets get tickets. It is disgraceful I have supported them all season away from home so you can see how the ticketing system does not help a loyal supporter and how some fans are abusing the system 1

I was simply making conversation. I'm not going to Liverpool as I've been already this season and have had two very expensive trips to Europe to cover. All the best 👍 Don’t moan about people with points, who decide to get a ticket for friends or family when they don’t want to go. They’ve done the miles. I’ve had tickets off of people, I’ve got tickets for people. Even got a ticket to get a point in the past knowing I’m not going. But that £30 ticket got me a point for Champions league ticket. Worth every penny. 1

I was childish enough to search for bites from butthurt idiots because I myself am peeved after the result. I don't like partisanship, so slagging Leicester after a derby loss was the perfect time. Childish men getting angry at football. Myself included, but I manifested that by being childish on a forum, not smashing sh!t out of a business' premises. Fun to see people defending our fans, though, isn't it?
Cecchini1976 Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 (edited) Hope the lad that ran on the pitch and punched forest players gets banned for life, sent to prison and disowned by his friends M. A disgrace to Leicester city football club, all lcfc fans and Leicester as a city. Edited 6 February 2022 by Cecchini1976

bart Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Said before that something went wrong with the tickets for this match, as it often does for big ones. Who knows if those causing trouble actually had tickets or not but I doubt they would have been able to get them for a biggish league match. And every club has an element of idiots. I think we maybe have more of a divide between our majority fans who are quite reserved and those looking for hassle who only show for big matches.

Hey, I'm angry and pissed off with those idiots too. The same goes for the hooligans. I've not read the whole thread, didn't realise there was people defending those actions, most seem to have condemned it?

I recognise that I’m partaking in a passion and a past time that is firmly grounded in the roots of the local, working-class Leicester community (as it is in every other city up and down the country). As a result of that it’s not always going to be a picture postcard day at the theatre. There’s going to be tribalism, vitriol and a release for people who work hard and spend their money down the football. But you read people on here going on like it’s not as civil as an afternoon at the cinema and not realising that, in reality, they’re the imposters on the game rather than the groups they lambast. But those you talk about are not going for the football, they go simply to meet other knuckle draggers, coked up and drunk. The types that don’t even stay until the end, often disappear from their seats meeting mates on the concourses. I wouldnt call Them True football fans Edited 6 February 2022 by turkish14
Popular Post GingerrrFox Posted 6 February 2022 Popular Post Posted 6 February 2022 (edited) Not making an excuse for it but I genuinely think the COVID pandemic has caused this increase in aggro and violence at the football across the country in recent times. Society is down the pan, people are angry, the country is in bits and these things can happen when life is a bit shit. All clubs are feeling it, not just us. People underestimate how shit like politics and the cost of living can impact everything. Some people think they’ve got **** all to lose and are angry. Edited 6 February 2022 by GingerrrFox 10 3
David Hankey Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 There are those who go simply to cause aggravation, not interested in football but just use football as an excuse to go about their mindless business. 2

Very interesting social phenomena at play right now.

Not an excuse for that idiot's behaviour as you say, but I think you are absolutely right. These last two years have been immensely difficult for a huge number of us, with all sorts of increased strains, and I think society in general is tense as hell at the moment.

Not to get too political (I just wanted to point out the correlation between the state of the world currently and how it can impact minute things like scrapping at football) but I think that’s a bit of a generalisation. You get people like Boris clinging on for dear life because he’s a narcissist and then in turn they don’t appreciate the impact that can have on the public but that doesn’t inherently make every Conservative/Conservative MP a society destroyer.

bart Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Why are people briniging politcs into this? Are we taking tips from the Liverpool fanbase?
cruzFOX Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 yeh totally shocked by the on field incident and in the notes city center. We were embarrassed and humiliated on so many levels today. A massive watershed moment for our proud club. Any class we had was gone. I know its a minority and all that but the spotlight is on us. Christ I don;'t know where we go from here to be honest and I said the same after the spuds game. Are we slowly sleepwalking towards relegation? surely not...
cruzFOX Posted 6 February 2022 Posted 6 February 2022 Oh crap I forgot we have Liverpool next. I don't think I can watch. I'm scared as hell now!
