I was thinking this might actually be a game for Hamza. We can probably do with his physicality and against Burnley I don't think we would really suffer much in terms of going forward.

yeah I'd tend to agree, roll on Tuesday

Gotta stop with all this negativity. We’ve got this…keep the faith. 3-0 LCFC. Tough moment in a tough season but there is still so much room for optimism going forward…fofana, Justin, vardy nearly back (Timmy not too far behind as well, young Luke Thomas & KDH break out seasons (KDH player of the season?), playing better than our results suggest. Brendan has just gotta get our defence working, haven’t got a scooby how big kolo is still in a job as defence coach.

Ndidi should be dropped from midfield but of all the games to bring Mendy back in, Burnley away probably isn't ideal.

There is no way we keep a clean sheet here, unless we have so much of the ball Burnley don't get near our goal. Need to go attacking and get goals.

...play with two #8s and Nacho and Daka upfront!!!

Leaving Ndidi on the bench could be an option, there are some games where you will not need a DM and we need to be on the front foot with these. Plenty of width and pace, we will either need to swap Tielemans for Maddison or have Maddison to come on later. But we need to play with the two upfront.

I'd take the most heinous if 1-0 wins like we got the last time we beat them in 2015.

We beat them 2-1 when Maguire got sent of and Wes scored in front of us in injury time March 2019, still by 1 goal mind.

Going to have to up our physical game well above anything they've shown in recent times to get anything in this game. We are possibly the most lightweight side in the Premier League, physically and mentally.

I've ways thought Burnley's physicality is a myth. They just play to their strengths which isn't possession based football for the sake of it. They aren't an aggressive side though like some teams are but you have to be switched on to the direct play.

I think we'll probably be losing this one. They've won their last two and are just the sort of side we can't cope with, although I would have said the same about West Ham, and that should have been a pretty straight forward win in the end.

If we play like we did 2nd half v West Ham or against Wolves, then we'll have a chance, but we'll be praying during every set piece the opposition get as usual. Play like we did last night and we'll be deservedly battered senseless.

I guess it's a plus that Burnley play tomorrow and we get the weekend off.

That didn't help us versus Liverpool, Nottingham Forest or Wolves recently....

Apparently we have a friendly match behind closed doors this weekend- whether there’s much truth in that i’m not 100% sure

....the West Ham game where the took the lead, I had expected them to have gone for the jugular!!!

They are either feeling the pressure and are slightly off, or they are about to implode. Wolves was a game that I was expecting to be a very hard game, they took the lead and you think they are going to push on, but they didn't have too much in them.

We need to be so much better as I believe if they take the lead , they will keep pressing and trying to put us under pressure. Hopefully we can score first, because with their direct style, they can very quickly take the game away from us.

Can’t see anything other than a limp embarrassing performance and loss.

Are we talking here about Leicester v Burnley or you in an argument?

Schmeichel

Fofana Amartey Soyuncu

Ricardo Ndidi Tielemans D-Hall

Maddison

Daka Iheanacho

Subs: Castagne, Justin, Thomas, Barnes, Lookman, Albrighton, Ward

....Fofana is nowhere near to playing, and we really need to come away from playing a back three!!!

Four at the back, Lookman and Barnes wide KDH and Maddison as #8s and the two upfront.

We have looked more balanced when Ndidi and KDH both play.

On Thursday, imo, our line-up was too attacking leaving us exposed.

I would go for 4 at the back with KDH, Tielemans, Ndidi, Maddison and Barnes ahead.  And probably Daka. Lookman becomes an option off the bench.

If Perrira is on  the right  we have potential down both flanks.  Thomas or Justin at left back.

As always our jeopardy is at centre back and Schmeichel's reticence to claim from crosses.  If our defence was better, I would be really optimistic.
