Quietly looking forward to this game, judging by some posts and podcasts they seem to be quite confident about this, doing well in the French league and comparing themselves to Liverpool. I think it will suit us and as long as we don't concede too early I think we will have this one, I feel it's going to be a fairly high scoring game, 3-2 to us I'm going for and then the away leg a 2-2 draw.

Just to make it clear, it was the BBC guy who said we’re a bit like Liverpool, we would certainly not dare :D . If anything, in terms of style, I’d compare us more to Leeds, but with a defensive backbone and actual strikers.

The real question though is how will we cope with intensity. We are use to giving it in our games in France, it’s one of our real strengths against other Ligue 1 teams… and now we’ll have to adapt to a team that should bring at least as much intensity as us.

Honestly it depends which Leicester turn up.

One or two times this season we genuinely have started quickly, risen to the occasion, pressed from the off and played with intensity and it has won us games.

More often than not though we start very slowly and concede the initiative.

Be prepared to see the english version of Ngolo Kante tonight by the way. Kiernan Deewsbury-Hall :D

I'd be really surprised if we won.  Our European performances have been pretty awful on the whole so far.

Me too!

But a crumb of hope we have a decent record at home in European competition.

17 games at home in our history and only 2 loses.
