Saw Wasilewski in the Highcross car park, saw him and reflexively (embarrassing) shouted his name - gave a thumbs up back.

 

At secondary school we went to this Japanese day at Loughborough Uni and they dragged Yuki Abe to it. A kid that wasn’t interested in football at all was picked to take a penalty against him, it was a dogwank effort.

Saw and followed Johnny Evans at Belfast Airport. Rumours were that he was signing for us, so followed him to see which gate he was going to, hoping it was C or D to EMA or BHX.

Unfortunately it was A to Heathrow.

I drove past Andy King in his Range Rover at the BP roundabout in Corby yesterday. I indicated left, he pulled out. It was a thing we did!

Dennis Wise on holiday in Dubai. I was being collected from the kids club in the resort (yes I was young) while he was there to collect his. Saw me and said "Right you want my autograph then?".

Oh and Kevin Keegan chilling outside a coffee shop in Hale. Saw Darren Fletcher in Hale Sainsbury's car park as well actually.

Kevin Poole came out to one of our school football matches when I was in goal (think I was maybe 13 or 14 at the time) and he told me that whilst a good shot stopper, I'd never make it unless I had a growth spurt.  I never did.

Used to see Ndidi at the sainsburys in Thurmaston a lot. 
I see Iheanacho in the Oadby Asda quite often now. 
Me and the missus were in Timos on Allendale road on the table next to Cambiasso & Ulloa once upon a time.

He was watching Orbital and gurning his tits off.

I gave him a high five and then he whispered in to my ear 'Are you my Daddy?'

At that point I walked off. He seemed like he was capable of all sorts. Made me very uncomfortable.

I should add that years later I found out that Jimmy Wallis wasn't there at all and it was actually me who was gurning.

Turns out I was actually talking to a bin.
