Match highlights up on Sky now. Cags was just over the 18 yard box line for 1st peno and frustratingly Kasper would've grabbed the ball if Cags hadn't rushed in so quick to boot it away.

Thought Tielemans improved particularly last 20 when he realised he had to step up, but KDH the key, loved the last second dribble to the corner. Mendy very reliable on the ball. Oh, and Lookman playing better than Barnes?

To be fair Soyuncu actually got the ball and cleared it after encroachment. 

 

The one against us went in the net so encroachment didn't really matter. 

 

Not sure the incidents can be compared but also not sure if the above matters when it comes to the encroachment rule.

Mendy has been a revelation since coming back in. Moving forward and passing forward rather than being passive, really helps to give some go forward to KDH, Maddison etc.

I think almost every fan base in the PL says the same.

 

I think the penalty call was pretty fair. I thought the foul was soft, Cags did encroach and as he was the one who got the ball away it was probably the right call retaking. All perhaps a bit harsh, but fair.

Really pleased with the performance today, thought we looked really comfortable up until the sloppy penalty which Youri gave away. Thought he had a poor game today, got caught a few times on the ball and players breezed past him far too easily at times.

 

Onto PSV now! Come on you blueeeeeee boys!!!

Maddison was pushed in the box and nothing given, I just don’t see any consistency

I agree completely about the consistency.

 

I haven't actually seen the Madders one, so perhaps I'd be a bit more annoyed if I had.
