Apologies if I've missed it, but when do you all think the tickets will go on sale?

As was the case for the previous stage of the trial (the last 16 tie against Rennes), the Singing Section will be located in SK1 (rows M to PP; 1 to 29 / M to PP; 208 to 218), with all tickets released from Season Ticket Holder reservation.

As a Season Ticket Holder in this section, this means that, while you will be guaranteed a ticket for the game, you will not be guaranteed access to the seat you normally occupy for Premier League matches. During the initial exclusive sales window for Season Ticket Holders (from 10am on Monday 18 April - online only), you will be able to purchase a ticket for an alternative available seat in the stadium, but seats in the specified section of SK1 will be locked. These seats will then be released on a first-come-first-served basis to all Season Ticket Holders that have not yet purchased on Thursday 21 April at 5:30pm. Tickets will then be released to Fox Members, subject to availability.

Just out of interest does anyone know what the reactions are like from season ticket holders in this area who don’t want to be In the singing section?

Roma are in form at the moment and definitely the best team left in the tournament. If we can beat them, we will be favourites against Feyenoord/Marseille.

To be fair so are we. Our form is the best it's been all season.

UEFA are considering having VAR for the Semi-finals now.

Damn it! It was one of the things that made the tournament more enjoyable. Really hope they reconsider, as i'm not aware of any controversial decisions that ruined Quarter Final matches.

Roma's next 2 games should give a guide as to how good they are, have Napoli and inter. It's very congested in that middle tier down to Atalanta in 9th

PSV probably should have had a penalty in the first leg although their Manager didn't make a big issue of it as he doesn't like VAR.

Seen a few unhappy people in one of the Facebook groups, but they're all people who claim to sing and don't mind being in the singing section, but are angry that they don't have first dibs on their STH seat. Some have written to the club to complain and been told tough luck. Not sure why the club can't give priority to those STHs to retain their seats in this situation?

Yeah, I think if we had one of Ndidi/Mendy available I'd comfortably back us to win it but as things are I'd say its a very even tie.

I mean, how are you going to police something like that.

If West Ham win the EL, does that mean there will be 5 EPL teams in the Champions League?  Is there a maximum permissable?

If West Ham win EL, we win Conf. League and Palace win the FA Cup,

It will be Top 4 + West ham in CL and us and Palace in EL. No English team in Conference and no EL spots based on League position.

It’s a tricky one as if they give them first dibs then they have to give all season tickets first dibs and there will be those that don’t sing that will just keep their seat because it’s where they sit. I was wondering that if the club don’t receive to many complaints from those that don’t want to be in a singing section it would possibly make it more of a goer for a permanent section in the future.

Maybe the club telling them tough luck while upsetting for those supporters is a positive that they are possibly willing to upset some people to have this go ahead.

I am de facto in the same boat, since my season tickets are in the Family Stand and the kids are too young for the late nights. I always relocate. I didn't realise I was supposed to be angry about it.

Our seats are in that section and yes we do sing so would rather stay where we are.  Our problem is that if we wait until the free for all on Thursday is there a risk we can’t get in the back of SK1/2 at all.  I think we will be ok but given the nature of our work we might not be able to be online when they are released.  Having said that I am all in favour of the club trying to get noisier fans together to build an intimidating atmosphere.  Sevilla at home was the last time it really felt like that and we were in the family stand that night.

The singing section will be core to the atmosphere but if you’re a singer being moved out for this game that may be a blessing in disguise. It’ll mean having singers dotted around the ground to create a knock on effect.

Always wondered if we miss a trick by setting up singers in blocks and not rows, given the shit acoustics in our stadium.

This:

👥👥👥👥👥👥👥👥👥👥👥

vs this:

👥👥👥

👥👥👥

👥👥👥

Anyway, if you aren’t up for this vocally and just happy to be in the ground then I’m baffled. It’s a ****ing European semi-final for Christ sake.

It’s the British way, you should get outraged by it, get so angry and ranty, to the point were  you actually realise your rage is way out of proportion for the little thing that’s sparked it. But you can’t back down now so you go full rage mode and draw others in to justify it. Then blame someone else for not making it clear to you that it’s not a big thing and it’s all their fault, before quickly calming down and having a nice cup of tea.

Well, that sounds like my parenting style, so I might become British yet!

Had an email from club tonight to confirm there is a singing section. Email basically to tell us our ST seats are in singing sections and won’t be released for sale until Thursday 5.30pm to all STH but we are welcome to purchase in another area 😂😂😂. A nervous wait then and fingers crossed we can get decent internet connection in Devon!

Are union fs going to release a note applauding what the club are doing?

I might try and get into this one then. I’ve been taking my lad who isn’t a season ticket holder or member so have had to wait for general sale, though may use my dads season ticket for him for this one has he isn’t going.

He’s really got into it over lockdown and this season and loved it when I’ve managed to borrow him a season ticket from a friend with us in l1, singing and chanting so I think he’ll love this, getting involved. Though he did like it in the Weller lounge too when I took him in there, he still joined in with the chants though lol
