I always find the seething resentment of the post title winning fans highly entertaining.

More please.

I'm not sure who this is aimed at, but having seen Lineker play for us, it certainly isn't me.

Clubs losses are expected to be double what they were last year. They're planning a massive extensions with prices sky rocketing. Fans expect success and European football too....they literally need every penny they get can and they can't rely on a parent company that's taken a pounding either.

We lost 100m over the last two season, yet fans expect us to splash the cash on new players, keep our best and make tickets cheaper.

LCFC has never been about making money to Vichai or Top, every penny this club generates goes back into the club.

Some want to have there cake and eat it.

It's a pretty flawed strategy if that's the case.

It absolutely hasn't.

There's no way, that a weary aussie traveller whilst on a layover at Bangkok Airport has thought, you know what, I'll buy a Toblerone and 200 marlboro from this shop coz the shop sponsors lcfc.

i really do think a 40% ticket price hike from a quarter final to a semi final is a bit steep, and maybe the club would like to explain why they have done this, bejeez 40% i hope i have done my maths right on this.

Unfortunately the club is a business and the demand for a European so final vs a big European team means the price will have to rise to meet the according demand. First and foremost the club is a business and does need to make business decisions to be able to thrive and survive.

The club wouldnt be able to survive handing out £10 tickets forever, the logic is that vs Randers or whoever that a £10 seat is better than a £0 empty seat. Not going to have the empty seat problem vs Roma so the price rises.

For a first leg, the £40 price has put me off. I'd go at £30 and i think that would be fair for a competition still very much in its infancy. Especially for what's like to be a very similar game to the PSV one.

Better for everyone if we try to win the tie late on. If we take at early lead we'll sit back and allow them to eventually draw, lead and win.

I think we'll absolute crumble at their gaffe. The players and fans will be right on us and we're actually playing a team that is probably our equal if not better. So far we've played 2 physically weaker sides that we're better than. By no means were they walkovers but we were favourites for both.

Watching us go from dominant to pathetic in 2 games and eventually throw away 5 points. Naaah, I'd back about 3 or 4 blokes in blue to show some backbone in Roma and Rodgers won't be one of them.

Anyone know how are ticket sales going?

Not sure about our end, but did see this from a Roma point of view this morning.

Does look like they are well up for it, and we will be going away to a huge sell out crowd.

After that PSV game I really did think maybe we have turned a corner. Two games and two embarrassing bottlings later and my usual fears return. I feel the same and think this is probably the end of the road.

I think you are right. I can't see us getting through over 2 legs for those reasons. Mourinho, tactics, pressure, set pieces all that shit where we can't cope. Whatever 11 we have out. Unless Vardy is back.
