I mean, two of the last Champions League finals were all English, and 2018-2019 saw all four finalists in the two European competitions hail from the Premier League. I don't think that strength is doubted. I will say that the success of Spain in the Europa League is more to the lack of strength in La Liga -- England has a Big 6 chasing the biggest prize, where Europa League is sneered at, while in La Liga they have a Big 3 hoping for Champions League glory, while the likes of Villarreal and Sevilla are quite happing to aim at the Europa League trophy. I'd say the latter is true in the other big European leagues, the teams regularly coming in third-seventh are happy to get Europa League. While in England, the comparable teams -- us, West Ham, Wolves, etc. -- are usually fighting over the scraps of 7th place.

I am of course absolutely thrilled that leicester have gotten to a European semi final for the first time ever however i can't help just feeling a tinge of disappointment that its in the europa conference league and not the europa league. I just dnt feel quite as excited! As its a new competition, Although the roma game should be great and ill hopefully go to the home leg. Anyone else feeling like this? Or is it just me? 🦊⚽️🦊⚽️

Email basically to tell us our ST seats are in singing sections and won’t be released for sale until Thursday 5.30pm to all STH but we are welcome to purchase in another area 😂😂😂. A nervous wait then and fingers crossed we can get decent internet connection in Devon!

I’ve had the email too, great news and pleased the Club have bought it back formally. That said, it was probably forced based on the unofficial singing section in SK1 for the PSV home game 🤣👌🏻
