Adrian Posted 6 June 2022 Posted 6 June 2022 I expect we will get a change in leadership either way soon anyway..as for Boris you can't deny he brought a strong statesmanlike approach and I find his personality has made a refreshing change to the top job. some of the Boris sneering its not constructive really, it doesn't reflect a collaborative approach to ours and the world's problems..
Popular Post Corky Posted 6 June 2022 Popular Post Posted 6 June 2022 If they'd bothered to stick to their own laws this wouldn't be a thing. As Izzy says, plenty of people aren't interested in mainstream politics and the crucial details. What they do notice and care about is MPs getting pissed and having gatherings at a time they were lecturing the public to stay indoors and guilt tripping them with posters of people needing ventilators. But no, this lot are so arrogant and wrapped up in themselves they can't even follow their own rules. He won't go but the kicking he'll get is fully deserved. 10

I get why some people want to vote Tory. I just can't understand continuing support for a bloke that is a proven liar who despite what he said has not taken responsibility. 8

st albans fox Posted 6 June 2022 Posted 6 June 2022 Live odds firming up that boris won’t lose (although i remember 11pm on brexit night) so how big will the vote against be ? 100. 125. 150. More ??? surely if it’s more than 150 his supporters won’t be able to spin it effectively??

He's been sneering at the entire voting public, not the other way round. As for statesmanlike, he looks like a complete mess most of the time in ill-fitting suits and can't even be arsed to brush his hair when attempting to be serious - even for solemn occasions like Remembrance Sunday. He's a disgrace. 9

Yeah he was very statesman like when he was hiding in a fridge to avoid being interviewed on Breakfast TV. 2

Finnaldo Posted 6 June 2022 Posted 6 June 2022 Boris stays in with a significant no confidence vote, probably the worst outcome for the Tories. 1

Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 6 June 2022 Posted 6 June 2022 Such a disappointing result. 148 of his MPs do not think he is good enough. Have some decency man.

Raj Posted 6 June 2022 Posted 6 June 2022 Boris"Teflon" Johnson. He will survive as he usually does by blumbering his way through. Hideous family. 2
SMX11 Posted 6 June 2022 Posted 6 June 2022 How many MP's are actually in the government? Sounds like a pretty dire result for the PM to me.
