Who was that? Minimino from Liverpool?

Think they said it was that Trezeguet (sp?) for £3.6m to Besiktas

edit Seems it’s a fib, as you said, Minamino has gone to Monaco for 10-13m

Can't lie, this window is starting to get to me.

It's not just that we've not signed anyone or even that there is absolutely nothing in terms of decent linked but no one has left yet either which is going to need to happen before we do eventually get someone in!

I'm sure the club have it under control but that doesn't make it any more bareable.

Are you really sure that the club have it under control?

Give or take maybe a couple of late ones, I think Rodgers thinks he’s happy with his squad.

Kinda have to believe they do. I think they know exactly who they want, the issue is having a squad of 27 senior players and needing outgoings to start picking up before we can really get going.

I would find it very weird if he was happy with his squad given past comments about players not giving their all (or whatever it was he said).

And people said teams would be falling over themselves to pick up our shite. Don’t seem to be lining up at the door for Perez and Co.

Who said that?   lol There are very few sales this summer from the PL, especially amongst so called deadwood, it’s mostly all loans and end of contracts

I dunno, some joke smiths early on when the players we were happy to shift on were listed here. I said at the time I doubted we’d sell any of them. If that is what we are waiting on, then it’s going to be a long wait indeed.

Reckon we will see a good number leave, but on loans with options, or obligation at best. Reduce the wage bill and trim the squad so we can get some decent players in will do tbh

If we can't sign a player for 10 million we're in shambles

Buried in the 35pt font heading and the body of that article is the claim that Everton are also interested

What do you mean

The club can afford £10 million in a transfer fee (in fact they can probably stage it in payments). The problem is

a) they can't add another £60k to 70k to a wage bill which is unsustainable without the additional income of European football

b) there isn't a squad place (25 man PL declared squad) available for him without getting rid of a player or two

Well, it could just be us now.  Everton closing in on Maxwell Cornet as their right wing signing.

I don't think we're getting anyone 😂
