Agreed. When big six clubs buy players this age for a huge fee, it's generally accepted as what they do. Perhaps this is just us buying players to improve the first eleven and add competition

Same age as Praet. Basically swapping one that doesn't want to be here for one that does, all for about the same cost.

I'm in favour of this. He's not a great age but it's not a big fee and I also think if he doesn't work out his reputation is big enough in France for somebody to get him back off us for the same price. His stats look excellent. Looks like exactly what we've been hoping to get Perez to be, and in turn Maddison too in that position.

 

I've accepted under Rodgers we're never going to play with two out and out wingers. He seems quite well set for that right wing slot.

Why do we buy 2-3 players who are average, won’t it be better to buy 1 class player .

So if u pay between 10 - 15 million for each player that’s 40 - 50 million, wages are somewhere between 200 to 240 per , we could buy a class player for that kind of money

if that one player gets injured then we are stuck. Need a decent squad too
