Legia didn't knock us out like but accepted.

Moscow are still a far more accomplished club than we are at European level. They beat Napoli twice to top the group.

They did knock us out, they deliberately missed a penalty in the 28th minute of injury time 😂😂😂😂

Like I said in another thread, the biggest issue I have with Rodgers is when the failings are glaringly obvious to us, he seems more bothered about spinning it for his own reputation than addressing it. Its always someone else's problem or we've been overachieving. It isn't on and he needs to win this trophy to avoid being under massive pressure next season.

I'm not papering over any cracks. I'm merely stating the facts, without bringing in any negatives. I just feel there are clearly some out there who thrive on the downs, rather than focusing on the ups. To put it in perspective, we are in touching distance of finishing a season, which, should we win only two more games (both realistically winnable), would not only cap the most successful period in our clubs history, but would be arguably deemed as our third best season in history.... and some would rather talk about how we keep control of the ball rather than play on the counter (yes I know it won us the league, but this was a small part in the perfect storm, for us, which I'm eternally grateful to have witnessed in my lifetime, but this style would never have longevity in the premier league).

 

Just Enjoy these moments. We're not always going to be in Europe, football is too competitive in this country for that to be the case. LIfe's too short. I can't personally enjoy football as a glass half empty kind of guy!

We went past Rennes and PSV to a last four that are stronger than the clubs remaining in the Europa League.

 

65,000 Roma fans at Stadio Olimpico along with Jose Mourinho won’t treat this as a glorified friendly, and for good reason, because this game most certainly is more than that.

A trophy and another European season await the winner of this very fun and very real tournament.

Both  players,nor managers, see situations & needs totally from another angle, & Eyes ,

as we balanced,& definitely more so than those fans who Love ( OTT) ers..

 

A manager will always Spin 'it', doesn't mean they Ride the top, or thrash the whip, they are given to Play with.

Fans building scenarios, to  the & make sense of a Club or managers words do more of the spinning-assumptions...

Best to wait until the Spinning as its last turn,

but also to understand & accept what various surfaces its turned over & across,during its Cycles of Top % whip..

What's a bit bizarre about that is generally UEFA request two kits only and we have already played the grey this season. Can assume its because they want the light/dark shade that FIFA waffle on about for World Cup's.

I'm not knocking you, I'm just saying you've put a spin on it that won't wash with people who've watched us this season. Rodgers and the team have rightly come in for criticism. 

 

That isn't to say some on here don't take it to the extreme. There's always a "competition winner" in our team and Rodgers is a complete fraud. There is those who love to have a moan and they belong in the bin.

We've got to win the tie, not protect a result so Albrighton's current hideous performances and this reality means his place comes under scrutiny. It looks like he won't start based on the rotated team at the weekend.

Too many examples of Albrighton providing for us in big games to not start him for me!
