Bet your house on it.

Weird how were going more attacking away from home, not that I'm opposed to it I just dont know why we didn't set up to be our most dangerous at home lol

That's not the actual team :P, although i would bet its most likely as Albrighton played the whole game against spurs.   Rodgers could throw a spanner in the works, you never know....

Harvey Barnes pulled up besides me around 8.20am this morning at the traffic lights heading towards M1/M69 just past fosse park in a Black Bentley, thought that was late ( when will the team be flying to Rome then ?) Assuming he’s in the team to be playing, strange

You sure it wasn't John Barnes?

They'll probably be leaving around now, press conferences this morning, then onto plane, get to Rome, media stuff, inspect pitch/train, hotel etc.

They prefer to train in the morning and fly in the evening. They'll fly tonight as they did with Rennes and Rome.

Rodgers (and I don’t blame him at all for this) probably wanted to make sure we were still in the tie after the first leg. Which we well and truly are.

Also, weirdly… going into a 2nd Leg at 1-1 fills me with less dread than a 1 or 2 goal advantage.

....once you have a lead to defend, you have something to lose!!!

There is added pressure there straight away and should you concede early, your nightmare starts to unfold.

Rodgers thoughts, I would  assume will be, that we could have a go at them for the first 10 minutes, as should we concede we have 80 minutes to repair the problem.

On the other hand we could score within that 10 minutes, retreat for the rest of the match and eventually crap our pants under the pressure.

The narrative of the PSV second leg probably worked in our favour as we had to attack after HT, which ultimately got us in front but there wasn't enough time for us to retreat and let PSV build up much concerted pressure.

I want better for Leicester City Football Club, the best! What’s wrong with that?
The last two seasons have seen lost opportunities and large financial gains, missed.

Missed out on top four, not once, but twice.

Fluffed the Europa League.

Concede from corners every other game, still not been dealt with. Seems to be a running joke, when we appear on Sky.

The Forest game, I still can’t get over how badly we were beaten by a team the division below, whilst we were the current holders.

Conceding goals late on, regularly.

Terrible signings.

Injuries.

Side to side football with no end product.

He won us the FA Cup, and I’ll be eternally grateful. But questions need to be asked.
I’d be elated if he got us to the final, but I’m not too sure, with his anti attacking football philosophy, will get the better of José managerial nouse. Hope I’m proved wrong!

Perception,perception...to perspective..

I don't believe we have either failed or fluffed,or lost opportunities...

Could ofs, should ofs, don't count in any sport..ones achievements/mishits can be weighted after your era is over.

I was a nearly boy/man..two sports,

touched wore a county& England badge,in the other trained started to get odd top club games, played regular 2nd team games, got a nod to train  with White shirts..contacts,right time, right people ,many who supported me from other sports, when struggling for a short time pulled me up,all before I was 21..Then wham !!*. Got a long term injury, that eventually finished any high potential sport...

Aspirations, ambitions are targets not a failure, you are as good as the opponent..you must respect..!!

Yep, i'd go with this on the RHS, especially against a Jose managed Roma

Advantage of this is the ability to transition to 2 up top if we're chasing the game too, with castagne sliding in as the LCB and Riccy the rwb, admittedly less important with 5 subs but does give us flexibility

...we did look good for a period after equalising (in the first leg)and for a time there, we looked capable of taking the game away from them!!!

Our poor last third applications once again came to the fore and we let so many teams off the hook due to this.

Because it's only half time, remember Watford when everyone thought we were already promoted after the first leg.

After the squirrel incident at QPR, where Nugent jovially chased it around, are we about to see Vardy chase a giant bear into the running track before scoring a match winning brace, then reacquainted with said bear at full time, riding on its shoulders whilst screaming it's fvcking me at the ultras???? No? It's just me then.

Yeah you'd think the team picks itself for this one.

I’d have Castagne ahead of Justin, unless I’ve missed something. The guy played in Italy, rumours are that he wants to go back there.

Justin played well when he came on in the first leg. Castagne played spurs, which makes me think he may be on the bench for this one.
