Number 6 Posted 6 November 2022 Posted 6 November 2022 Relegation battle is genuinely going to be fascinating. Forest likely to finish bottom but then Bournemouth, Wolves, Southampton, Everton, Leeds will all be worried. The way it has bunched up will have the likes of Brentford worried too after what was a good start to the season for them. Good note for us to not take current form for granted too. 1 1
Corky Posted 6 November 2022 Posted 6 November 2022 Southampton feels like our place six weeks ago, but with an inferior squad to turn it around.

I've got nothing against Everton but they have been in top flight since 1954 so would be quite something if they went down 1
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 6 November 2022 Posted 6 November 2022 Southampton go through long spells of being utter shite, but just when you think Hassenhüttl is going to get binned-off they produce a couple of shock wins out of nowhere. 1

I always feel more comfortable when it’s promoted sides that are occupying the relegation places. Forest are there, Bournemouth getting dragged into it. Failing that those that are in their second season. Established sides often seem to find a way to drag themselves clear when it starts to get critical 2
francis39 Posted 6 November 2022 Posted 6 November 2022 still need to play against Newcastle and Liverpool after the WC… very likely to stay below top 14 after the first half of the season
dmayne7 Posted 6 November 2022 Posted 6 November 2022 Player for player, that Newcastle team is bottom premier League level with a few exceptions. Shows what confidence can do to a team.

Md9 Posted 6 November 2022 Posted 6 November 2022 of Southampton could finish it wouldn’t have looked so easy for Newcastle we play how we have the last few weeks we could beat them
KingsX Posted 6 November 2022 Posted 6 November 2022 Olise channeling his inner Mahrez to win it for Palace.
Beachyboy Posted 6 November 2022 Posted 6 November 2022 Southampton are going to be in a dog fight all season, while there defence doesn't look that hard to penetrate, they really don't look like scoring many goals, 4th lowest scorers in league, Everton being one of the other three.
Beachyboy Posted 6 November 2022 Posted 6 November 2022 (edited) Brighton 6th, Fulham 8th and Palace 9th is a reflection of how poor this league is this season, you don't need to be paid £10 million a year to get our squad in the top half with this league. Edited 6 November 2022 by Beachyboy

What club in league 1 and 2 have a better fan base then Newcastle?
