sdb Posted 3 August 2022 Posted 3 August 2022 He was shit he couldn't catch and we only won the PL and FA Cup and Championship and Community Shield and played in a CL quarter final and another European semi final with him and he never came for corners and stop being pathetic we'll be fine without him he was only our captain and the back up keepers will be just as good if not better it's fine stop crying you big sissies I saw Rab Douglas and Paul Henderson and Kasper was no better it's fine but what the **** do we actually do now

He’s been with us on every step of that journey and through some dark times. Guts, Glory and tragedy. Ahh well, I suppose we can enjoy the slide too if we try hard enough. My great uncle once said that the trouble with folk is always wanting things. i’m not sure he was talking about possession based football - but maybe he was. Anyway? Nice is nice. Have fun Kasper. Destroy the rumours that you’re a vampire and come for the odd cross. Legend. 2
RobHawk Posted 3 August 2022 Posted 3 August 2022 It might be an overused term bit he's a bona fide leicester legend and always will be. Have fun in France Kasper, you deserve it 👍 2
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 3 August 2022 Posted 3 August 2022 This feels like the first departure of one of the title lot that really hurts - perhaps because he’s been here for 11 years. But let’s not kid ourselves, it was going to happen within the next few years - it was just a matter of time. A shame the fans didn’t get to say a proper goodbye. I saw him at Preston in this pre season, but life moves on. Let’s get behind the new keeper. 1

There's two sides to every story but I think you can probably see from his demeanour that kasper isn't an easy bloke to deal with, particularly when it might involve criticism.

You’re completely right, kasper would have had the consecutive appearances medal on the top shelf next to the premiership trophy. He must be devastated. 1

Throw in a fairly public interview saying he wanted to play European football. It was as near as agreeable circumstance I think player and club could part on without Kasper having commit his career here. Edited 3 August 2022 by Cardiff_Fox

Kasper leaving has been on the cards for quite some time I imagine, so why not play others? This whole milestone nonsense is a fan thing and they should never be consider in such decisions, maybe Kasper mentioned it? Did I miss that? 2

FoxesWalk Posted 3 August 2022 Posted 3 August 2022 goes without saying he is a legend Obviously the wages off the books are a big win for us here… I wonder if we will use the squad space for a RW or a third keeper? Anyone seen what his wage is reported to be at Nice? Vardy will probably sign a similar deal to wind down his career on a lower wage soon. This deal for Kasper may provide some sort of rough indication of that…?

The bullshit of Rodgers leaving him out for the consecutive game run, when he could have picked any other game to play ward.
SafewayFox Posted 3 August 2022 Posted 3 August 2022 Mixed emotions for me, Kasper has clearly been a huge part of our recent success. 11 years yet felt like yesterday HOWEVER, all great things must come to an end and if this helps with the needed changes, particularly with set pieces then we have to embrace change. Others have said it but having a disengaged Kasper is probably not a good character to have around the dressing room. Good luck Kasper. 1
