Reserve keeper?

Think you’ll find Vlachodimos started 32 league games last season, plus every single game of their Champions League campaign.

....and the new manager's first act was to get a replacement for him.

I have been Kasper's biggest critic at times but we will miss his shot stopping. As a team we are give opposition far too many shots on goal, will Ward or Iversen be able to perform the heroics Kasper can.

Where’s Benfica’s so called new goalkeeper in this lot?

No worse than Benfica's reserve keeper, Arsenal's third choice or a Newcastle reject?

Where have I said those would be the better options lol

I like Iversen by the way. Just would’ve liked to blood him in properly.

Sven's first pre season (2011) I'm sure we began training at the Recreation Ground in Stoughton whilst we had work done at Belvior Drive

I think you may be right, and that might well tally up with my recollection of Vichai having Belvoir Drive renovated/upgraded.

Has he not stitched us up by leaving us so late, be interesting to know when he decided he was off

If the club always knew, they’ve centred pre season largely around Iversen with Kasper getting back later and Ward being  injured. I don’t think it makes that much difference.

The extra week off make sense now, it was a bugger off and decide what you want to do.

Also the fact Iversen has played some part in every friendly except the Derby game.

It does, if people think he is a hero

such as his dedication and professionalism and commitment to the club I think he’s earned the right to have taken as long as he likes to decide.

We have made him a multi millionaire, it works both ways. If the club knew then fine, if it’s only since the last couple of weeks then it’s a bit different. Don’t suppose we will find out

No doubt not his fault. It was pretty clear this one on the cards when he was so emotional during the lap of honour and when he had an extra week off compared to everyone else.

it does work both ways and he’s hung around plenty long enough to prove his dedication to us.

For the fans yes.

For the club and getting pre season right and experience to the team, we’ve done the right thing.

Sad to see him go. A tear in the eye. So many memories. Good luck Kasper, you'll forever be remembered at LCFC.
