the season ticket base would not be substantially enlarged?

That was the point I was trying to make, some are thinking that getting this extension will make it so easy to get a new Season Ticket when it is built when in real terms it will increase by a few thousand at most

@abc summarised it perfectly in another thread:

  • Log in to your LCFC account first.
  • From the email LCFC sent, follow the link "CLICK HERE TO SUBMIT YOUR PREFERENCE FOR YOUR 2022/23 SEASON TICKET"
  • Click on the Yellow "Buy" button.
  • Click on the Blue "Delivery Method Selection".
  • Click on Yellow "Select" button that should appear.
  • Select the quantity of "Season Card" you need, I picked 2 as I look after my Sons and my tickets.
  • Click on Yellow Add to Basket button.
  • I then had to allocate the 2 cards, one to me and the other one to my son by clicking on the black "Owner" names.
  • Scroll down and Click on the Yellow "proceed to checkout"
  • Click on Next.
  • Accept the T&C's
  • Click on the Yellow "Submit" button.
  • All done

Didn't receive this email.  Can anyone forward it to me please?  I can pm my email address

So what are all the old folk going to do who don’t have a smart phone or even a phone 😂🤦🏻‍♂️

Will be even worse next year when the card option isn't available.

Turnstiles at the first home game are going to be carnage, surely? How many have blindly bought their ticket and not realised it'll be on a smart phone which needs NFC enabling?

How many phones will be stuck under the scanner and it not recognise anything?

Yep, going to be awful. Funny how all the systems are meant to make things easier yet the queues just get consistently worse. Quickest system is someone just checking you ticket manually!

Didn't think the online instructions were clear. Tried phoning but couldn't get through so decided to go to the ground only to find that they no longer deal with tickets in the shop. It has to e online or by phone from now on.

No it's not, what if someone just prints the same ticket twice to get in? How will a steward remember each ticket he has seen? The current (2020/2021) system works perfectly fine and they should stick to that, although let's see how the phone NFC system works as you wouldn't need to hold it into the gap for the scanner, the phone just needs to be in the vicinity of the reader which can be placed anywhere. Ultimately this is down to the stupidity of people rather than the system. You can make the system perfect but you can't stop people being stupid (i.e. waiting until they get to the scanner before switching on their NFC, or forgetting to swtich it on at all then then moaning it doesn't work)

Not had the email. How do we actually state a preference for a physical ticket? Trawled the website and couldn’t see it. Someone else renewed my ticket and not sure if it was selected at time of purchase.

If someone else renewed then yes they will have been asked at the time.

The default is NFC so you will need to check.

What was the threshold for ballot this year?

Hoping to get the mrs in on one next year.

Largely seems to be about 38 from the thread in the tickets section. Some people were unsuccessful with more and some claim to have got one with less.

We were accepted on a joint application with 79 and 39.

I’d ring up or contact lcfchelp by email. Either of them will sort it for you .

From Benetley's Roof:

I'm a member and wanted to be entered into the ballot for a season ticket, I also opted out of receiving fathers day emails having lost my dad six months ago.

I didn't receive the email about season tickets so missed out on the ballot, I did however receive an email telling me all the great Fathers Day things I can buy my dad from the club shop.

Thanks LCFC.

From Bentley's Roof:

Dear Richard,
Yesterday evening (Tuesday 14 June) you would have received an official Club email relating to this weeks preference deadline for 2022/23 season tickets (mobile ticket or physical card).
Regrettably an internal system error……blah…..blah…..blah
So my name still appears to be “Richard”!
