Anyone heard any mutterings about pre-season games for the u23s? I really enjoyed my trip to see them play Alvechurch last season.

Aylestone Park and Barwell are the only two I’ve seen confirmed

Tyrese Shade has joined Swindon Town who finished 6th in League Two last season after we let him go

Will Russ just signed a new professional deal in February. Are you sure it's the same deal.

Yes ,apparently was on trial at the back end of last season.

Ben Petty is very committed to his plans of not using strikers - don’t have to use a striker if you don’t have any

If it’s true he signed a contract, maybe it was done to secure a fee, however small.

i really really really hope we don’t waste pre-season minutes on him, rather than giving the actual promising youngsters a chance.

Cover is an interesting one for us, he's got so much ability. Could see him kick on next year with the U23's.

Will Alves posted a story on Instagram yesterday lifting weights. He isn't technically due back, but he seems to be at Seagrave.

He's been doing a lot of individual work with a personal trainer who is very popular amongst young professional footballers.
