Trump will probably say it means Mexico shouldn’t have the world cup .

Would've loved to go and watch a game in Vancouver. But man, first I failed in the lottery, and now I've been granted "exlusive" 48-hour access to remaining tickets.

 

I have three options: Australia on the 13th of June, New Zealand vs. Egypt or New Zealand vs. Belgium.

Ticket prices? Between 380 to 500 USD.  For Category 1 or 2.

 

What did WC tickets cost in the 90ies or early 2000s? I have no point of reference.

I know there’s way bigger and more important things than this, but with 103 days to go one of the hosts with a peace medal from the organisers around his neck has attacked one of the countries that has qualified.

 

I really have become fed up of modern football but thought I might actually look forward to the World Cup at least as that’s sacred right?

Maybe it won’t matter given recent events but looks like VAR will be used even more in the summer .

Been to 3 World Cups. My first World Cup game was England v Spain at the Bernabeu in 1982.

The one when we had to beat Spain by 2 clear goals to progress. We drew 0-0

Turned up at the stadium an hour before K.O.& bought 4 tickets for 600 pesetas each.  A different world.

600 pesetas being about £3.

Didn't make it to another World Cup until France 1998 & tickets from French touts could be bought for around £50-£100

Germany 2006 was the beginning of the end price wise when a ticket for an England group

game we're going fo up to £500 from the touts.

A couple of years ago I was planning a trip over to the USA but due to the obscene profiteering

& the current climate I'll be tuned into BBC/ITV.

How about Countdowns for free kicks when refs take ages sorting it out and seemingly wont allow quick free kicks near the goals.

Surely with the events in the world, a world  cup cannot surely go ahead especially in the usa. A country thats at war with another cant possibly host a world cup.

Now been tagged to work in Alderney in the days I was due to be in nyc for the World Cup. I’ll obvs try and get out of it but that’s surely the biggest fall from grace anyone has ever had if I end up in Alderney rather than New York on said days

You would assume so, just hope this is not Fifa's loophole to reintroduce Russia into the world cup. UAE were in the same group as Iran and finished high so they could take there place.

Iraq finished higher and are in the play offs, but requested those be delayed because they can’t fly to Mexico as they’re meant to later this month. FIFA have told them to get on a 25 hour bus and then fly there.

If ever watched clips of 1934 Olympics when Hitler was in power of then nazi Germany. Alot of that event was to showcase the power that Nazi's and Hitler had. Not saying USA are anywhere near as bad as the Nazi's but think about similarities of what happened in that Olympics and what were getting in the upcoming world cup and Olympics to follow.

 

Also guess where fifa awarded world cup to be hosted in 1940...
