Cags surely has to be given another go. Him and Evans have proved before that they can be an excellent partnership. 2

If he considers that as an excuse/inexperience then it shows why he's extremely reluctant to give genuinely inexperienced players a chance. So league football at a much lower level means you're an experienced PL player? Let's hope you don't get to pick the team.

They will only become more experienced at this level by playing them, doesn't mean that Rodgers is wrong to point out that they lack a lot of experience at this level. Ward Castagen, Evans, Soyuncu, Justin, Maddison, Ndidi, KDH Perez, Vardy, Barnes Is that ok with you chief?

My point was more than if he considers 2 lads with 3 seasons of adult professional football under their belt, it's not a surprise he has absolutely no trust in the academy unless he absolutely has to play someone. That's not a bad team buddy! Swap me Daka for Vardy and i'm onboard.

SemperEadem Posted 19 August 2022 Posted 19 August 2022 (edited) That email the club just sent out. If you read it in insolation it makes you think do you really want to enter a place with that unfriendly approach and welcome. Edited 19 August 2022 by SemperEadem 1

Guessing it's not a club decision either. Sounds like it'll happen across all grounds in terms of the drinks thing.

Besides if they're that hard up The extension is a long term investment that will last a lot longer than the cost of living crisis. By the time the plans are approved, work is done and the seats are ready to be sat in, we could all be better off financially and playing well again.
Popular Post Manini Posted 19 August 2022 Popular Post Posted 19 August 2022 It’s been a long time since it’s felt like this, just no good news coming out of the club at all. It really has been a horrible summer for the club. 9 1
Raj Posted 19 August 2022 Posted 19 August 2022 2nd home game of the season and I'm already not bothered!!!🤭🤭 It's either old age or just empathy towards football at the moment(Or probably lack of excitement of the club!) 3

We haven’t moved on much have we? Huth and Morgan were infinitely better.
whetstonefox Posted 19 August 2022 Posted 19 August 2022 Could be an interesting day tomorrow, we need a win just to cheer everyone up. Guess we must hope the players feel a bit galvanised after what’s going on and the body language will say a lot. I can see us winning 5-2 or losing 0-3 Southampton have their own issues so might not go for the jugular.

Soyuncu is good in a two but absolutely awful in a three. Amartey is just average in both. 1
