Was listening on the radio, (well up to 4-2 when I'd arrived at my destination) and this is how it came across on air: hardly a Leicester player mentioned in the second half; just sounded like one way traffic.

The other thing that came across were our fans; brilliant! Only ones you could hear, especially first half 👏.

"You're getting sacked in the morning"  chants?

I didn’t realise just how awful Danny Ward is. You must have a quality keeper in the Premiership and he is miles off

His positioning for at least two of their goals was just bizarre

How we miss Kasper…

Just watched the highlights on MOTD and Christ! We are awful…

Relegation side written all the way through it. Positioning terrible. The amount of space they had running through was amazing! And arguing with each other.

What….. a……. fookin….. mess

Troy Deeney talking loads of sense on match of the day on how bad we were and the body laungauge.

They also spoke about how poor ward was as well, nowhere near good enough for the prem.

can’t believe I’m admitting to watching the highlights..

Highlighting the 'blame culture' on MOTD2 as players constantly point at and dig each other out. I wonder who started that culture

Yep and fully agree with MOTD2 singling out Ward & Ndidi... not many came out of that game with credit, but those two were particularly bad.

Ward doesn’t look a Premiership keeper. We have to try Iversen he surely can’t be any worse.

Just shipped 5 (6). what is there to clap?

Yep. Absolute joke. I was one of them down the front giving them shit and absolutely no apology for it. Only apology I could make was not going far enough.

I loved a laugh at the Everton responses last year and their own meltdowns but I'm taking that over apathy any day. Everton had a battling spirit about them that we're sorely lacking and it's why if it comes to it we will drop.

Since when has purely spending money equalled success? Manchester United?

Yes, agreed, most teams that can afford the best players will rise to the top and that's logical I suppose. But in 2016, we were one of the most in- form teams in the world with a squad worth 21.5m whilst Manchester City's was 350m! It's not about what you spend, it's about what you buy or in our case, what you already have that others would really want too and we've got a number of those! However, they are not being led well and are having the confidence drained out of them. Arguably this has gone on for a long long time now.

It's about building a team and Rodgers has some good players at his disposal but stubbornly sticks to his crap philosophy and fails to field a team that plays to their strengths.

With a half decent manager there's more than enough talent in our squad to avoid relegation. I think some underestimate just how bad Rodgers is. With all the players we have available, how many fans today would have fielded that exact team he did and have the same choice of substitutes on the bench. The same goes for previous matches and the bizarre substitutions.

We will always disagree on here regarding precise choices and tactics for various reasons but not many I would suggest would look at Rodgers choices and tactics and agree and when that happens, you know there's a problem.

Decisions need making now before it does get desperate. Even if Stowell was is in charge against Villa, I think there would be a huge sense of relief at the club like a doctor lancing a huge boil.

I believe things will improve because we have the quality of players in our squad to do it, but the board have to act now.

Yep. Genuinely some of the worst management I've ever seen at any level.

At half time 2-2 and still very much in the game, this was the opportunity for Brendan to rouse the troops to go out and give the supporters real hope with a 2nd half performance that could have been the springboard for the rest of the rest of the season.

In that half time period he made a personnel change and change to our shape and our 2nd half performance was awful, we looked so open and naive, we lost that half, the half where you would have expected some fight and some bollocks 3-0 and it could have been even worse. That for me says everything, i his time has come to an end, he is no longer having any positive effect on this group of players.

Take nothing away from Brighton they are excellent and played us off the park, but Man City or Liverpool they are not, and yet they have just given us an absolute hiding, a team that struggles to score goals, have just whacked 5 past us and it could/should have been more.

Starting to think we might be in a bit of trouble this season. Too many players either out of form, don’t want to be here/not trying, or simply not good enough, and now arguing amongst each other on the pitch.  Manager who seems to just want to get himself sacked for a payoff.

From our point of view watching the Leicester players self destruct was the obvious thing to point out, there seemed to be disagreements between players all over the place throughout the game,no real fluidity or sustained pressure on our defence at any time at all, Brighton hunt in threes at ball recovery and Leicester had no answer to that tactic and basically seemed to have no real plans to counter it.

I've been popping on here for a few years usually to compliment your team on the win and somewhat envious of the Leicester way, yesterday was the very first time I've felt our two clubs are going in opposite directions, obviously it's early days yet but as a outsider looking in I'd not be happy with my team's performance if I were a Leicester supporter,I've always considered Rodgers to be a excellent manager but even his body language yesterday suggested perhaps his race has been run.

Good luck until the next time we meet obviously.

I had a feeling the game yesterday would feel symbolic in that sense - a passing of the guard almost in that you're now basically everything people liked Leicester for. You haven't got the silverware or Europe yet but I do think it will eventually follow. Will be a long time until we're better than you again I think.

It makes you realise how fragile success is for clubs outside the big 6. For us to go so quickly from challenging for Europe to adrift at the bottom and one of the favourites for relegation has really shocked me.

This was the pre-match motivational email for fans. Anyone else think the club is aware of the direction of travel under BR as signified by the pointing finger emoji

I've stopped receiving these emails for some reason. Good to see I've not missed much! lol
