Had a lie in. Went out for breakfast. Went shopping. Had a nap. Took the dogs out in the fields. Stopped at shop for a four pack and a pizza. Planning on settling down to a good film.

My day has been lovely.

Looking forward to having a delightful day doing something else when Rodgers is humiliating the side at Villa too.

The letters of the word 'bloodbath' are contained within 'Brighton and Hove Albion', which seems sort of appropriate!

And, of course, it's almost all of the teams that we defeated to win the FA Cup that have now put us rock bottom.

I want to hear from Rodgers remaining defenders as to what they thought of his decisions in the match.

Besides getting Nacho and Daka starting together right every other decision was a howler. Especially taking Barnes off at HT to bring another defender on.

This is a supposed elite manager so there must be something i’m missing?

Today was mainly individual errors, he can’t kick the ball for them. Who are we replacing with who’s going to wave a magic wand exactly?
Please be gentle

Come on you can’t be defending the muppet. Check our form out over the last 6 months we have lost our way clearly and he is showing no signs of turning this around. It’s actually getting worse. We are so fragile soft easy to beat.

Dohhh says Rogers, "We are losing and running out of time, i know , take off Tielmans and put on Amartey, that`ll fix it"

Sums it up really , time to go bozo

The only thing worse than Rodgered today was Ndidi, more dead man passes than you would have thought humanly possible , not to mention giving awaya the most pointless penalty in the history of the game

5 losses in a row.

Mentally weak.

Physically weak.

Tactically weak.

Just shite overall.

Rodgers needs binning off.

You were asking "who's replacing him" arse end of last season, would legit be interested to know when the tipping point was

That’s not only our club where this is a pattern.

At happens at most football clubs. Even most workplaces but football has a very more obvious outlet where it manifests

Well, someone needs to teach a lot of people, particularly footballers, what the word INTEGRITY means.

I mean, where are we when people can be absolutely devoid of it and still be rewarded?

I was out after the Forest game. Yet still had reservations as to who we should get in as wasn't sure who there was around that could.

That's allowed, no?

If anything, the start of the season not winning from the position we're in against Brentford re-inforced it.

He's a parasite. He arrived here with a team which was in excellent shape and he has proceeded to demoralise it by poor decisions in every facet - selections, tactics and recruitment. The team did well initially because they believed in his chatter. But the line between plausibility and disbelief was crossed some time ago. He's no leader, no strategist and no tactician. He's lived off the team which he inherited from Puel, but all that self-belief has been sucked out. Most of the pundits got it wrong too - "best British manager"!!! He's a confidence artist - with nothing behind the façade. If he doesn't go then the chances of turning this round decrease with every game.

Be fair to Ward he made at least 4 good saves bit dodgy at times but getting balls back to him when they should be going the other way.Dak Nacho and Timmy looked like they were on it .Barnes needs a month off .Just not finding our players in the oposition half and Brighton were decent

Can anyone actually believe we were playing with ndidi and thomas at cb in thst second half wow

We kept a clean sheet against liverpool last season (the only side)  with a back four that included Thomas, wilf and big Dan

it’s a mindset and organisation issue

both were dreadful today and have been for some time

Yes. Go back to that game and have a look.

Show me where I've wanted Rodgers in since then. I'm happy to wait.

Enjoyable trip to Brighton, except the football.

Favourite away day ... every time.    Good away end, easy getting served, bars open after the match, pleasant home fans.

Shame Everything on the pitch was utter Rodgers-inspired shite.

But isn't that the point? Rodgers is deliberately sabotaging the team. Selecting Amartey over Soyuncu, Thomas over Castagne, Ward over Iversen,  taking Barnes off at HT today for a defender,  playing people out of position when he has specialists available in those positions, etc. None of it makes sense. Whilst the players have to carry the can to some degree both today and previously, is it any wonder that they give up when they can see their manager routinely making decisions that undermine their chances?

If you were Jonny Evans and you could see this madness playing out wouldn't you just have a word with, I don't know the two full backs and just ask them to defend a bit deeper, go against the managers instructions, possibly see if Soumare as a centre back works better than Ndidi. At least we'd get more out of Ndidi that way. If the manager is so incompetent surely the experienced players, though can't change team selection at least can talk amongst themselves as to a better game plan.

Come on, Ward is dreadful. When even the mild mannered Wilf is calling him out you know how bad he must be. He's our worst starting keeper since the 1990s for me. Way off PL level.

I have supported this team since 1968. Today’s performance is up there with Harlow away. Absolutely dreadful performance leading me to think the Team want BR gone.

Top do your duty (VS would NOT stand for this) - Rogers and Rudders gone please.

That team which kept a clean sheet v Liverpool last season also included Hamza, who Rodgers effectively froze out of the team.  The side that didn't concede this season, admittedly against only a part-time team, included Soy, a player who Rodgers has also effectively frozen out.  The pattern is undismissible.  He more and more allows his arrogance and stubbornness, rather than good sense, to dictate his decision-making, to the detriment of the club.

I’m just so angry with everything at the club now from top to bottom. Top himself puts out some wishy washy statement about how he cares for the club whilst he watches it burn to the ground around him. He’s in way over his head. We’re horribly, horribly run. The finances are a mess, the transfer window was one huge mess, I can’t even buy a ticket to a game because the ticketing system is a shambles. The ticket office themselves are a shambles. The club shop is a shambles. Whenever I do get to a game I can’t even get a beer or that sausage roll that I’ve wanted for ages because of the stupid way it’s organised.

On the pitch, we’ve got a manager stinking the place out because he’s 18 months past his use-by date. The squad has stagnated. We’ve got a load of millionaires who literally couldn’t give a toss about the club or even their careers sat on the bench or in the stands every game laughing all the way to the bank as they pick up their huge pay packet we’ve given them. We’ve got players who don’t even want to be here and are just hanging around waiting to move on.

We’re going to get relegated. It’s not a certainty but it’s more likely to happen than not. We’ve gone from questioning whether we can disrupt the top 6 to being battered around by Brighton for a laugh. Everything about the club is pathetic and nobody is taking action. My rant is now over.

But apart from this everythings  fine  :-)

Was listening on the radio, (well up to 4-2 when I'd arrived at my destination) and this is how it came across on air: hardly a Leicester player mentioned in the second half; just sounded like one way traffic.

The other thing that came across were our fans; brilliant! Only ones you could hear, especially first half 👏.
