One result should never really change anyone’s opinions. However, your can’t say a defeat is down to Rodgers and a win is down to the players. It’s a collective effort from both that will give you the results.
At the end of the day we are in a results game, we win and go on a run of wins, over the next 8 games that is possible and a lot will change their minds.

Sorry but this just isn’t true.

You can win in spite of a manager’s tactics because of the players individual brilliance or mistakes from the opposition.

We’ve done it countless times under Puel and Rodgers. Vardy was getting us out of jail for years.

That’s on you, not the club or Brendan. If you can’t enjoy us winning 5-0 against a local rival in the Premier League then I genuinely feel sorry for you.

I said 'fully' enjoy.

Mind you, I don't expect all football fans to understand a nuanced viewpoint.

Feel free to stick with;

Win is good = Happy

Loss is bad = Sad

With or without Brendan Rodgers I want this club out of the relegation zone. But the fact is he will have to turn around a massive loss of form over the last 12 months with a group of players he publicly said were not hungry enough for success. So it's massively unlikely. Anything against Forest will not change our immediate position but if we did go on a winning RUN not just one game you have to hold your hands up and say "fair enough".

The question you should be asking is how long will it take the ones still supporting him to turn? Forest? Leeds? Wolves? For some it's actually never.

I hope we do win, but it's going to take more than one victory to win me back. There are serious issues in the squad, the tactics and game management. If I see improvements in these over 5-10 games and the results improve and we move up the table, then I might be content with him in charge, but I really can't see that happening.

Draw and he should be gone before I even get down the steps to the concourse!

For some on here apparently they’ll only change their mind when the owners tell them to. Seems like it’s their choice to establish supporters opinions for them.

I can see a fair few posters coming back out of the woodwork as soon as we get that win claiming Rodgers is the best we’ll ever get…

There's Bob Hope and No Hope...we aren't going on a winning run with Rodgers.

We might fluke a win against a rubbish team. But nothing more. Like all the other crap teams can on their day.

That's why we need a new manager.

Otherwise we are down.

In the unlikely event of us winning the next 6 games there would still be those wanting his head to roll.

In the same way there are still those who support him despite us losing 6 in a row, you mean?

This.

I keep hearing that it's a winnable run of games though and therein lies the problem - Brentford, Southampton and even brighton were winnable games. But we made the same mistakes, the same tactical errors and the same poor choice of subs to somehow get one point from 9.

We lost to ten man Chelsea - without two saves from Ward ironically it could have been heavier - could have shipped two or three more vs Arsenal and never laid a glove on United. I don't know how they're "winnable" when we haven't looked like winning for a long time.

I've supported and watched Leicester for over 30 years and I can't remember the football ever being this bad (in terms of the league we were in).  The length of time this has been going on as well is ridiculous.  It's been crap football for 18 months.  Literally, you could count on one hand the amount of times the final whistle has gone and we can say we've looked good.

We've consistently in this last 18 months relied on individual brilliance to bail us out of the shit, but that could never, ever last.

We are circling the drain and the worrying thing is, no one at the club seems to want to plug it before we go down it.

Where were you 2003 - 08? that was 100 times worse than what we are experiencing now. Also the Taylor years were far worse than this?
It’s not great right now, but there have been far worse times in the last 30 years.

Honestly the best outcome is that we recover form, end up somewhere amongst the top ten at December, Rodgers salvages his image/reputation and someone takes the bait. We get someone in for the rest of the season who has six months to assess the existing squad and start to get a style.

The only way that happens is we get out of the mess to start with.

On paper though, they actually aren’t.

This is our worst start to a PL season and one of the worst in our history in the top flight.

Which would make sense - in the same manner you maintain perspective when in poor  form, you maintain it in good form

Cant you find another team to support, because you are very obviously not a fan of this one,

I've never not supported Rogers. I want the team to win. Do I think he can turn it around - probably not long term, no. Will I continue to support - yes. Why because it's unproductive to do anything else. It's just a matter to time until Top pulls the trigger or we start winning games - not really much I can do about it.
