Don't forget Amartey.

Oops! Completely forgot about Big Dan, probably because he was a late arrival during the Championship winning season. It would be good to see him get the full set also after all the negativity towards him on here.

No need for me to say which two games have been selected for TV. You can pretty much guess them

Man United V Burnley... what a shite watch that will be. These cup competitions should be supporting football league clubs lower down the pyramid

Man City vs Liverpool was obvious.

Man Utd vs Burnley though - what's the point?!

I thought our game or Charlton vs Brighton might have had a good chance. Even Blackburn vs Forest.

It’s all about TV ratings for cup games. The broadcasters need to sell those ad slots and get the audience numbers up

Do you know when they are confirming dates for the other fixtures?

Be matter of days, if not hours - there’s no reason it shouldn’t be the Tuesday but City might want an extra days rest for any World Cup players

Man U is guaranteed viewers plus kompany going to old Trafford means a raft of Man City fans will tune in. This game will do multiple times viewers than mk dons v city or Blackburn forest, both pointless fixtures, absolutely useless for tv execs. They’ve struck gold with this draw

Why is this on the Tuesday? Completely rules out the Belgians and Maddison (most likely to reach the final of our players), it's not on TV and we aren't playing again until the next Monday.

I doubt they’d be involved no matter day it is that week unless they’re knocked out early

With 6,569 tickets, this should get to all season ticket holders, right?

Would be surprised if this doesn't make members. We might even get more tickets if we do sell out.

There's absolutely no reason why Sky couldn't show all of the games on some sort of red button match choice service.

The fact we get streams means the cameras are there. They could even piggyback on another channel's commentary if they don't want to send any of their own commentators down.

And, although it would be negligible compared to the main TV games, they'd still be able to get a bit more ad revenue from it wouldn't they?

Unless they're selling the ad space at a premium based on the assumption that fans of other teams will watch these TV  games because they can't watch their own teams, of course.

But as long as the ads are the same across the red button... of course, the question is added cost to added value, but you could even show the games without commentary (as you said, the cameras are there).

Completely agree. That's how they set up for mid week championship matches. No reason it for be done for the Cup games.

Like with the Newport tie, the draw is a huge opportunity for us. We’ll likely have to negotiate missing a few players due to the World Cup, as will all remaining PL sides, but this game should see our strongest available side out no questions asked.

Another two guaranteed PL exits this round, and the Man City vs Liverpool draw means only a maximum of 2 of the last 8 will be Big 6.

Elsewhere Forest have a tough away trip, Kompany’s Burnley visiting Man United is written in the stars material, and I don’t back Southampton to not screw up against Lincoln City.

This cup is a huge opportunity for us to get some silverware again, and imo a big reason to be excited about the post-world cup season. Assuming our World Cup players are unavailable I’d go with something like:

                     Iversen

Albrighton Evans Soyuncu Thomas

          KDH  Soumare  Praet

           Perez  Vardy  Barnes

Well said.

Couldn't agree more.

Great! Never been to an away game before, so don't really know the ins and outs.

Don’t turn up at the KP…:trumpet:
