Fair play to anyone insane enough to do this.

To be fair mate. We get bashed at times, including from our own, for our support, but mid Jan, with 3 away games back to back, 3 hours away from Leicester on a midweek and we will still shift a few.

Evening, I live in Newcastle, binned my season ticket once I moved up here. However if anyone has a spare ticket for the away end for this match would be very interested. Will send money before purchase or meet on the day whatever is easier. First time I've posted a message like this so if this isn't the right arena or way I apologise on advance. Thanks.

I'm going on my own and staying over in Travelodge which has some cheap rooms available

Ditto, but in the old Jury’s Inn, but on train from Peterborough, £39 return. 1418 going out, 0930 back following morning. Know Newcastle really well, visited quarterly for a few years doing audits for a furniture company.

In those days used to stay at the Hilton Gateshead. First time I booked I said are you Hilton Newcastle, they said no, wash your mouth out😂

I'm sure someone will help you out.

Going off on a tangent ... this is one example of how the Ticket Office (or whoever decides such things) really p*ss me off.  Up to a couple of seasons ago, away tickets would go on General Sale if there were any left.  And by "General Sale" we mean City fans who haven't got a Season Ticket or Membership.

But in their wisdom, they decided to stop all that.

I mean, how dare you want to support your team away from home, without having a Season Ticket or Membership?     And before anyone flippantly suggests "it's your own fault, you should get Membership" .... If you live 200 miles away, and might only get to perhaps one match a season, why the f*** should you have to have to give the club your blood group and sperm sample ... just to support your team.

(Oh sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself ... DNA samples will become mandatory in a few years after they have got everyone on mobile tickets!)

Bang on
